One of my friends suggested this place and As a Ayurveda MD Doctor I was excited to explore Ayurvedic food in USA. Food is really good, its quite expensive and menu doesn’t have so many options but its really fresh, quality food and Satvik so i find its worth the money. We order the Nourishing plate but it was so crowded that waiting time was 1 hr Nourishing plate so we ordered chickpea wrap and cup & grain. The wrap was so good. Drink is not recommended as I fond is not so good .It might be their last day on the day I visited so it was crowded. I really want to talk with the chefs and owners but it was so crowded that i couldn’t. Hopefully they will open soon & serve nutritious food.

Vegan, (actually!) organic, and has great gluten free options! Also they had spice mixes and other take-home products for sale. Awesome super friendly customer service. Had the pleasure of meeting Prakash, the ayurvedic Dr who works there, which was a cool surprise. I say "actually" organic because I've seen reviews for various other restaurants saying "organic" but when I call the restaurants they really aren't. It's great that we have an awesome organic, vegan restaurant here with gluten free options! Peace and God Bless

This place gets busy! It's worth the wait though. It seems you pay at the counter and then wait for a spot to open up to sit. We were eventually able to find a spot and the food is carefully made so took a bit of time anyway. We got the plate thali which had soup, curries, rice and more. They were all so delicious and filling. Their samosas which they don't have all the time are big and delicious! I would recommend getting one. Portions are hearty and food is nutritious so I felt full pretty quickly. I wanted to try all the different items and ended up over ordering. They have ultra purified water to drink too.

So delicious that I question how healthy this really is. The cafe also looks nice inside and the worker was very kind. My only complaint is the price. This is a pretty small wrap for $15 (once tax is included).

We are ready for this restaurant in OC. All the other vegan restaurants are not the healthy. This one is very nourishing and healthy.!I love their Nourishing Plate which is a thali. I eat this meal and will not eat another meal until the next day. Their chai is so yummy so is the spelt muffin and kitchari. I can eat here every week!

Omg. Love this place so much.... I love their Kitchari. I took my dad and sister here once and they really seemed to enjoy it. We all got to share certain different foods so that was cool. I love how they make their warm special tea too to go and different sizes of Kitchari. The cool thing too is they also offer different cleansing of Kitchari, it's amazing for gut health. Highly recommend for anyone who's health conscious!

A common misconception about Muslims, even amongst Muslims, is that we're supposed to be big meat-eaters. For a multitude of reasons, daily meat consumption has unfortunately become our norm. I myself have been guilty of grilling Halal hamburgers in my backyard in the middle of the night out of fear of missing out on sufficient protein intake during the blessed month of Ramadan, a time in which we're supposed to be focusing on detaching from our worldly obsessions and attachments. The reality is that the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and the early Muslims were semi-vegetarians. They would only eat meat once a year on Eid, and only after sharing that meat with those less fortunate and unable to afford it. Even those who were more heavy meat eaters only ate it once a week. It's now hard to deny that we're in the midst of an environmental, physical and mental health crisis and that there's no causation between the three. Unplugging from the matrix is never easy. I myself still struggle from time to time but having eliminated 90% of my animal product consumption, Alhamdulillah (all praise is due to God), I can never imagine going back. I used to think that eating plant-based meant eating overly processed and unpleasant foods. Thanks to some wiser friends, both Muslim and Hindu, I learned that that's definitely not the case and in fact, discovered a whole new array of flavors and satiation. It's been hard to find a truly healthy, organic, and "fair trade" South Asian restaurant in California which is why I'm so grateful for the Nourish Cafe in Costa Mesa. The owner is one of the most knowledgeable and God-conscious people I've ever met. It's no wonder that people from all over the world fly in to seek his advice and treatment. To say that he helped save my life would not be an overstatement. NourishAyurveda.orgThere are a lot of great things on the menu but my personal favorite is the "Nourishing Plate." Personally, I think that's code for "fat-ass special" intended for foodies who can't make up their mind "Beware of eating too much meat, for it can be as addictive as wine." - Umar ibn Al-Khattab

AMAZING!! WOW and OMG!!!I am so grateful to Sharon and Omedhya Senasekara Ayurvedic Practitioner for introducing me to Nourish Wellness Cafe! This place is amazing. The food is delicious, the staff is beyond friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is welcoming and relaxing. I have been here several times now and I have never been disappointed. The food is all vegan and Ayurvedic, which means it is both healthy and delicious. I have tried a variety of dishes and they have all been great. My favorites right now is the Kitchari. You are supposed to eat Kitchari after finishing the Panchakarma Cleanse. So I have been indulging on this and can’t wait to try everything else in a few days after I am fully done with my cleanse. The staff at Nourish Wellness Cafe is beyond friendly and helpful. They are always happy to answer questions about the menu and make recommendations. Love this place and ability to get an Indian breakfast! Love the Ayurvedic philosophy and just clean healthy food. Friendly owner and was able to make me a crispy dosa to go with our thali that was shared.

I have been there numerous times. Im really not into vegan but I do like vegetarian food. The staff is just OK. The problem is that the food is very simple Indian style food and extremely expensive ! A bowl of vegetables and rice, muffin and chai tea will run you about $22 ! They say they are a non profit ! really When I wrote this review the owner wrote me a three paragraph comment. Compared his place to Starbucks! and then told me I had been over charged repeatedly but made no amends

John you are the least advised person to come here reply to reviews, especially the negative ones. You leave a confirmation print about what some of those negative reviews say. I have been coming to this place since Month 1. Since then, indeed, some stuff is going down the hill.. Prices went up crazy and quality of service (not so much food) went down accordingly. Not an Ayurvedic anymore but a Vegan restaurant. No Ghee available… and the way you reply customers shows how much you care. So, keep your opinions and life advises to yourself and shut the heck , that way you don’t stain the business name even more . Better have someone paid to to this job, it will cost less in the long run for the Business. There volunteers are costing more than a paid person to the business.I am happy OC has rich and d*** enough people to join these stupid expensive fancy experiences made for white people, that way you can curse regular people and keep the business running.World spins John, don’t forget.Since you like giving peoples opinion and advise I hope you swallow those ok?
