Easily one of the best bars in Orange County. The food is excellent and the bartenders are friendly and creative. Worth sitting in the bar in the back, the vibes are much nicer than in the front of the restaurant.

The closing time was 11pm and we came in at 9:30pm, we came all the way from lax to try this place out but they said it’s their last call already!!! We had to leave!! If your last call is at 9:30pm then please don’t post your closing time at 11pm so people won’t be disappointed and wasting their valuable times!!!! Not coming and not giving them a try ever again!

Great date night vibe in the speakeasy part. Excellent cocktails and delicious food! The Wagyu over charcoal was incredible. Will go again for sure!!

I’ll start this by saying the staff are all very nice. However, if you had the expectation of getting refined dishes in a high-end restaurant, you might be disappointed. The flavors just weren’t there. There was an excessive amount of shiitake mushrooms in virtually every dish we ordered. We got there right at 5 PM on opening and after being seated, the weight staff or talking loudly amongst themselves using profanity. Basically there’s no fine dining atmosphere. Sadly I will not be returning.

Interesting speakeasy in Costa Mesa with amazing drinks!

I tried:
1. Shishito sour
2. Smokey tokey - toki whiskey old fashion
3. Ice cream

The food is so good and unique in many ways. I love some of the grilled items like lamb chops but I’m obsessed with the garlic noodles with giant shrimp. The pot stickers and brussel sprouts are also delicious. I appreciate the larger space (more seats) and speakeasy bar side. Servers are nice, they have a real cocktail menu and select wine choices. Everyone I bring here loves it.

Parking: The lot can get busy at dinner time. Overflow at Wells Fargo.

I love going to this place. Food is always amazing. Service is always great. We often order a little extra to have a snack later that night. Cocktails are on point. Get there early to make sure you get a table. The speak easy vibe on the bar side is a nice addition as well.

Lively place that sells pretty tasty Japanese food, family style. Not the usual stuff at all, and definitely worth a visit. Definitely not a white tablecloth place, but very Buzzy.
