Recently discovered OC Sports through a Google search. Purchased new skis and needed the bindings mounted and expected it to take a few days. Noah at the shop had me only wait for a short 15 minutes and got me out the door ready to hit the slopes.Cool shop with quality customer service. If you're in SoCal, try checking 'em out. ??

Needed just about everything - had a great experience working with Elvis to get the right boots and fit and with Noah and Darrell for skis, bindings and the rest. Great selection of gear and these guys know their stuff. Thanks

Elvis is a great boot fitter. He spent almost 3 hours working on my wife's new ski boots. Thank you very much. She is very happy. Marian Petrelecan

Awesome shop. Danny was SO great; fitted me for boots and was very patient and insightful. Get him to fit you!! Elvis and Noah are incredible - Definitely know what they’re talking about in regards to skis and the needs of differing levels of skiers. Owner of the shop, Darryl, is outstanding. He is a great guy and really knows what he’s talking about. He recommends only the best for his customers. Not many stores like this in OC, highly recommend.

I purchased my ski boots from OC Snowsports in November. After years of skiing with rentals and hand-me-downs, I decided it was time I invest in my very own pair. Let me just say, boot fitting isn't the easiest. New ski boots are tight! Especially since the pair I had been skiing in before were too large. The guys at OC Snowsports spent hours with me, teaching me about boot types, how they should fit, and getting me in the right pair that was suitable for my ability. After an adjustment in the toe box, I am over the moon and beyond happy with my new Dalbello boots! I have never had a bigger smile skiing down Ambush, one of my favorite runs in Big Sky. Smiling ear to ear! I'm still breaking them in, but I am in LOVE! It is a night and day difference skiing in boots that fit right and I am so thankful for Elvis and Daryl who spent so much time with me.I came back in January and purchased new skis from OC Snowsports as well. Another great experience of learning about different ski types and eventually finding a pair that I absolutely love.I am so happy with my new ski gear and look forward to all the runs they'll take me down!

Go in there with an open mind and they will get you dialed in. The boot fitting process is about ~2 hours so make sure you block off enough time. It's a ski only shop and these guys have been active on the mountain for 30+ years which brings a lot of history and knowledge with it. Got a great deal on my skis and they were able to mount the new bindings within the hour. Leave your ego in the car and you'll have a great experience. They didn't try to upsell me anything and understood what part of their inventory would be too advanced/not strong enough. Go check them out.

Absolutely fantastic people. Help you all the way through the process and didnt try and sell me on something I didnt need, which was refreshing.

Really weird staff. We walked in saying we were shopping for ski boots and would like to try some on, and the guy says "We don't let people try on boots here. We do boot fittings. And I'm the one who chooses the boot. Never heard of that? It's been that way for 45 years." (???) I couldn't tell if that was a joke or not at first, but turns out he was serious. He made it sound like you can't put your foot in a boot unless you agreed to pay for it (+ a probably-unnecessary fitting), and we didn't get a say in which boot we wanted, despite doing some research beforehand. We left after that, didn't want to waste our time if they weren't going to help or let us find something that we liked. Really weird and condescending vibes. We ended up going to Green Room where we had a complete 180 experience. Nicer staff, better selection, better deals.

My brother and I finally decided to go all in this winter and purchase some ski boots. OC Snowsports was the perfect local shop to get boot fitting done. They have a wide selection of boots at the shop and the employees really know what they're doing. They listened to my input and understood the nuances of how each boot fit so we walked away with great fitting boots. My brother and I love our Tecnica and Salomon boots, respectively. I had to come back a few weeks later to get some new skis as I bent my old pair. Daryl and Elvis pointed me towards a pair on sale, which I appreciate, while sharing skiing stories. Overall, I had a great experience and will continue to come back.

I went in today to discuss my current ski boot situation, Elvis helped me and was very knowledgeable and helpful. He actually took the time to measure my feet and look at my feet in my boots and told me to try and make the boots work for the rest of the season. He actually gave me some suggestions on how to make them fit better he then went on to describe the different types of boots and specs of boots and why people use specific boot types based on their ability and experience. I’ve decided to take his advice and try and make my current boots work for the rest of the season and will surely continue to give this shop business when I’m ready to spend the money. They could have easily talked me into spending anywhere from 700-to over a I000 , I appreciate he considered my pocket book and were giving me options. I like this kind of honesty and frankness. Real people, real business.

I recently purchased a pair of skis and boots from OC Snowsports and I couldn't be happier. Daryl and Elvis were great Elvis took his time custom fitting my boots to make sure they were right for me. I've been up to Mammoth and Winter Park this season with my new equipment and it's been great. Overall, a solid investment and experience at OC Snowsports.

Today was the 2nd time I went to this shop. The first time was 2 weeks ago when I was trying to buy boots. That was a nightmare. The guy who started to help me was unbelievably condescending in tone and demeanor. I went back today thinking that maybe I just encountered the guy on a bad day. I just wanted to get a pair of my skis sharpened. I walked in with the skis and the same guy who I had encountered before was there. As I came in the door, he began to smirk and asked me what I needed. I told him I just needed my edges sharpened. His condescending smirk expanded and he said, " those old things need a lot more help than just sharpening. It's important to understand that these skis are in good shape and the bottoms are almost perfect. They had been used 6-8 times at the last Olympic games as I covered skiing for TIME magazine and Sports Illustrated. The young man called a guy named Daryl over. Daryl is the manager/owner and Daryl in a short impatient tone said, "what is it you need?" I explained to Daryl I just wanted the edges sharpened. The bottoms are in great shape and the edges just need a little sharpening. He looked at me like I was a misbehaving child and said, "look at the rust on those edges. I said, yes they have been stored in the Garage and hadn't been on the slopes for a couple years. The rust isn't that bad. He proceeded to look me up and down and in a very condescending tone told me, " I'm not putting those things on my machine. It might damage it. I'm not touching those things." He then proceeded to turn his back and joked about my skis. These guys at OC Snowsports are the worst I've ever encountered in the 50 years that I've been skiing. Avoid this place. There are other really fine Ski Shops in the Orange County area that don't talk down to their customers. This place is the worst!
