Original Pizza Sports Bar & Grill

Had the white pizza and did not have much flavor. The drinks were nice and strong and had a decent view of the course. Gave 3 stars because of the good pour on the drinks

Great bar....pizza is not great

Normally a 4 out of 5, but this last time the crust was paper thin. I requested if possible to make thicker than normal.

I also forgot to mention to place the pepperoni on top (I don't like pepperoni, so I remove them). Since under the cheese, I had to dig them out. We ended up throwing some of the pizza away.

No one else in my party was happy with the hand tossed crust, too thin for everyone.

Note on placing peperonis below the cheese, they are not cooked well. Everyone mentioned, that the pepperonis were not crispy.

Such a cool spot right on the golf course. Great place to go for sports

I have ordered the pizza many times and have not been disappointed. I normally take it to go. I realized if you pay cash instead of credit card, you save the CC charges they add to the bill.

The worst breakfast pizza. We got so sick from it. They put hot sauce as a base. Terrible

This is hands down the best pizza place in the OC! I have been coming to this place since it was the Original Pizza back when it was near Newport Beach as a child. The place has great people and amazing food that you could never go wrong!!!

We sat down. Waitress didn't even looked at us. Took here about 15 minutes to come to us and take our order. Our coworkers came in, I think that's when she came to take our order. Maybe because they are white. No menu, she seemed bothered when we asked for the menu. Then she kept on ignoring us. She was more worried about the people at the bar, which was only 3. We asked for a second round of beers, she left them at the bar. We had to get out of out table to go get the beers. Bro, wtt. We didn't come her to beg for food.

Everyone there is awesome and the food and drinks are fantastic. Love this place!

I've been going to be called Steve's Pizza because we know the original owner and I'm 72 now and I went there as a teenager barefoot in a bikini and bought slices at their Newport location now I got five generations of my family knowing that this is the best pizza ever and we are a pizza family and we all agree let's go to Steve's I mean original shout out to Steve the owner we knew everybody's going to love your pizza ?⭕?❌‼️???❣️ PS Cori says hi

I grew up on Steve's pizza when they were located on Balboa Peninsula. I hated to see Taco Bell take over the space. I felt fortunate to locate Original Pizza while I was randomly looking at restaurants in the area. The service is great, staff is friendly and the place is clean and well maintained.
The pizza is almost as good as I remember, but it's not the same. Maybe it was the ocean air, the old oven, different water or something else. It is still great, but slightly different. Glad Steve, Jr. is carrying on his father's tradition. Steve, Sr. is remembered and missed.
