The food was average at best. Ambience was really nice. I’d say the real kicker was that the server was just not very attentive. It wasn’t busy and it still seemed tough to get their attention for anything.

Delicious food, but very small portions for the high cost. Thoroughly enjoyed the flavor and presentation.
We had reservations for 6. The food was so good and our server, Liz, was amazing. She took her time to describe the different dishes. We ended up ordering their famous dumpling, vermicelli salad, and wagu beef. All dishes did not disappoint. We will definitely be back.

The food is always good at this restaurant. However the noise level is very high abd sometimes you couldn't hear your server
Wow! The sampler Xiao Lung Bao is.amazing 8 different flavors from truffles to crab.. each burst of different flavor! It really dances in my mouth!!! Grand opening this week.. must go! This is a chain from Singapore!!! Odds you never had anything like this before!! It will definitely be a battle between this and ding tai Fung!!! !

The food was really tasty. The waiter was attentive and brought out a special birthday treat for our daughter which she loved. You don't get a lot of food so don't expect to walk away full at about $25 each. Fun experience.
It was a great place to enjoy food.

I have enjoyed the food at Paradise many times, which is why I came again after finishing my event setup on Thursday afternoon. The restaurant was not busy at all, and there were many empty tables. However, the host still made guests wait 10–20 minutes before seating them. I wasn’t sure if they were short-staffed, but the long wait didn’t feel necessary.
After about 10–15 minutes, I was finally seated. I then waited another 10 minutes with no greeting and no one asking for my order. I had to call someone over to get service. The food was good, as always—that is the main reason I return—but the service this time was disappointing.
At the end of my meal, the server asked if I wanted to take some food home. I said yes, and normally the staff will help box it for customers. Instead, he handed me a box and said I could pack it myself. I asked him politely to help me, and he said he could but “many customers prefer to do it themselves.” This made me feel uncomfortable and not cared for.
I left feeling that the service was not friendly and not up to the standard I expect from a nice restaurant in South Coast Plaza. I hope the management can improve the seating process and customer service, because the food is truly good—but the overall experience needs more attention.

If you're visiting Paradise Dynasty on a Friday night, you have to sit with Steeve! He is truly a master bartender—funny, personable, and incredibly attentive. Steeve has a way of making everyone feel welcome, and his energy sets the perfect vibe for the night. His cocktails are absolutely delicious, and he clearly knows his craft inside and out. Pair that with the amazing food, and you've got the perfect spot for a great evening out. Highly recommend!
We had planned to go to Din Tai Fung, but the wait was too long. We booked a quick reservation for Paradise Dynasty. We were seated immediately due to our reservation. The restaurant was not very busy on Veteran's Day (Tuesday). We were seated at a nice table. The table had clearly been recently cleaned as it was very wet. When our server arrived after a few minutes, we asked for a towel to dry up all of the water. My date ordered a cocktail while we asked for some recommendations. We ordered many of the items suggested by our server, but we were primarily there for dumplings. Within a couple of minutes we got part of out order. Some steamed prawn and pork dumplings and some pan fried pork dumplings. I was shocked how quickly they came out. Both sets of dumplings were cold. My only conclusion was that someone else had ordered them or they had been pre made, because with the lighting fast turnaround, how could they be cold. The rest of the items we ordered came at very random intervals. We ordered a pork belly appetizer that the server suggested which came 10 minutes after our last item was served. It was also cold. It took 20 minutes for my date to get here first cocktail. By that time, I had already finished my iced tea and was not offered a refill. We ordered the sea bass, it was very mediocre. The saving grace was the peppered Angus beef. It was amazing. We did not see our server until well after the last food items were delivered. I finally was able to flag him down for another cocktail for my date. The food was sub par (other than the beef), the service was terrible, I had to flag down someone to take my credit card, and the overall experience was not worth the $183 bill for two people. We should have waited for Din Tai Fung. The overall experience was not worth the price.

It was a great place! if din tai dung ain't available this is really good alternative! Dare I say maybe better? As someone from out of state who does not have either options, this was great. Loved the food, the service and the vibes. I'd say my favorite dish is the stir fried string beans. Must get!
First time visit to this fabulous restaurant experience! The food was excellently delicious, loved the unique dining experience and menu options! Importantly too, was the wonderful service and hospitality received from Hendrey, our server. Will share this great dining experience with family and friends. Congratulations and wishing great success!
The server was very efficient and friendly. Once the order was taken all the food came out at once. It was quick. We liked the dim sum dishes. We always eat here when we celebrate a birthday. Too bad there wasn't any acknowledgement for the special occasion but oh well...
The food arrived early and it was good. The place was clean. We got a table with couch that we requested. They are very accommodating.
This was my first time coming here to Paradise Dynasty during happy hour. It tasted very well. All of the food was amazing. I had ordered a few XLB sets. I ordered the specialty set, the cheese set and the garlic set. Out of all of them I enjoyed the cheese one the most. we also ordered a few appetizers. We had chilled tofu, a mushroom dish, some bbq ribs, and spicy shrimp wontons. We also ordered fried rice with pork as well as stirfry noodles with shredded pork. I enjoyed the fried rice a lot that was one of my favorites aside from the XLB sets. The service was very good. Our table was attended to quite frequently. We also had our waters filled up often. The staff are very friendly and kind and attentive. I would recommend booking a reservation to eat here just because it makes the seating time faster and a better experience. For dessert we ordered a salted egg XLB. Not my favorite it wasn't too pleasing to me. Would try something else next time. The ambiance and environment is very nicely put together and very clean. It is a social setting. It feels a little bit more than casual, which is nice. The restaurant is in the South Coast Plaza mall but it's right on the edge of one of the entrances so it's not hard to get to.
