Service was fast when food came but food was average. Too expensive. I also made a reservation and they were aware it was a birthday since they asked us yet did not sing happy birthday which was odd.

It was fine- unfortunately there was nothing outstanding about this restaurant. If you are hungry, they have good food.

Decent if you have kids. Service is not the best specially for South Coast standards. Would be nice if they have kid activity books. It is nice that you're able to make reservations.

They gave away our table at 9:00 instead of honoring our 8:30 reservation. After all the waiting, we only had about 15 minutes to order, and the waiter also came to our table late.

We've been here a few times but this time the food just wasn't as tasty. The quality has gone down and the flavors are lacking.

The bar is extremely slow, they can do better to have more bar tenders to support the restaurant flow. One that can also multi-task, to help flex up or down depending on the evening. The server did not bring our drinks for 15-20 min...that part was not a great experience and it was for 4 drinks. Other than that it was excellent - food is consistently good, the prices are good, and the presentation is great.

Great cuisine here--love the elevated entrees. First time trying the chicken wonton in chili oil --delicious chicken and satisfying. To date, the best hot & sour soup I've had. The crispy sweet and sour fish (cod) was outstanding--mild, firm fish and the sauce is in its own league compared to others. Highly recommend. We tried a couple of the mocktails--beautiful presentation and nicely crafted with balanced flavors. Hospitality is solid; they care. Management always visible and interacting with the guests. Nice change of pace if you are shopping at South Coast Plaza or just looking to dine-out.

I have been a repeat customer here but service was so shockingly bad today. After being seated for our 11 a.m. reservation, the server never came to our table and we had to ask one of the staff members to send someone to take our orders. This was the order in which our food and drinks were served (1) dessert - mango pudding (2) cucumber salad (3) xiao long baos (4) ice water and drinks (we had to ask for them) What a total failure from start to finish.

The food was average at best. Ambience was really nice. I’d say the real kicker was that the server was just not very attentive. It wasn’t busy and it still seemed tough to get their attention for anything.

Delicious food, but very small portions for the high cost. Thoroughly enjoyed the flavor and presentation.

We had reservations for 6. The food was so good and our server, Liz, was amazing. She took her time to describe the different dishes. We ended up ordering their famous dumpling, vermicelli salad, and wagu beef. All dishes did not disappoint. We will definitely be back.

The food was really tasty. The waiter was attentive and brought out a special birthday treat for our daughter which she loved. You don't get a lot of food so don't expect to walk away full at about $25 each. Fun experience.
