While visiting Bloomingdales for the first time, we saw a picture of this restaurant’s signature xiao long bao on their window. We decided to come back to try out the different flavors of these soup dumplings. We didn’t come once, but twice. First time we ordered the dumplings, wonton soup, wood ear, and pork chop. For our second trip, we were joined by a visitor from Taiwan who shared with us this restaurant group’s brand of over 10 eateries all over Asia . And how lucky we were to have stumbled upon their first North American restaurant here in OC. For our second trip we tried fried rice, noodle soup, tofu, cucumber, and ordered two deserts, black sesame mochi, and red bean glutinous rice roll. Both were freshly made, soft, easy bite and just the right amount of sweetness. Overall the portions are not huge, as you might expect, the pork chop has a soft skin, not the crispy Japanese style pork Katsu. Every dish was well prepared. They even elevated the taste of a simple fried-rice. The decor is upscale modern, the service was prompt. The server patiently explained their menu, their signature and popular dishes for us to try. When we couldn’t finish our meal, our leftovers were packed in an insulated bag. Next time we are in OC, we would definitely have a meal there again. If you do try their soup dumplings, remember to start with the original flavor, then work up the flavors: black truffle, cheese, crab, garlic, BbQ pork, Szechuan and finally kimchi. No, the kimchi is not too intense, you can do it.Vegetarian options: One person in our group is a vegetarian so we ordered, several items from their vegetarian menu-tofu, cucumber, wood ear.

Great food, amazing noodles and very good starters like the spring rolls and wontons, unfortunately the deserts were not too funGreat vegan and vegetarian selection in the menu, would definitely recommend to any people looking for a vegetarian option

All the soup dumplings were delicious! If you want to eat a lot of vegetables on your trip to America, you might want to eat here ^_^ I prefer boiled dumplings to xiao long bao ⭐︎

Food was amazing and Charles was a great bartender will absolutely come back when I’m in town. Dan Dan noodles and the prawn and pork dumplings in the chili sauce were amazing. 10/10 will Dan Dan again.

We come often and the food is always great. If you are coming during lunch or dinner busy times, make sure you come earlier to get a spot in the virtual line.

Great food, great service. Food is not as good as the "other" dumpling place but its good enough. Very minimal wait during lunch and servers were very attentive.

Boy oh boy. Overall a nice experience. If we're focusing on their showcase item, the Xiao Long Bao, then you can get better XLB at the other wing of the mall at Din Tae Fung. The XLB here are just okay. Skins are nice, the meat is mediocre. It's nice they have so many variations, but they need to get the signature pork XLB right before thinking about other flavors like BBQ pulled pork... Service was ok. Other dishes were fine (the hot and sour soup was quite good). Overall decent experience but NOT worth the money.

Sleek Chinese modernist decor and tasty dumplings. The little steam basket dumplings have delicious broth and interesting flavors without being oily. The stir fried noodles and chili wonton also have good flavor. Skip the desserts as they tasted generic. The chocolate Panda is cute but nothing special.Vegetarian options: Several stir fried vegetable platters, vegetarian dumplings and noodles

For the price of dining here, I did not find the food exceptional. Even though we sat down at 7:30 for dinner, many dishes were sold out/unavailable. It was Singaporean cuisine, I was expecting more traditional Chinese fare.

Our favorite soup dumpling spot. Truffle, cheese, salted egg soup dumplings are usual picks and we try other options. Usually very good.

Enjoyed yummy Chinese food with family here. We love xiao long bao. The kids were so excited because the xiao long bao would be in a rainbow color. Very packed and seems like a popular place!
