Disclaimer: this review is on catering food only. I have not eaten in the restaurant. This is the second time I have tasted the catering food from Pasta Connection. Both times the ingredients tasted very cheap and I felt incredibly lethargic after eating it the first time. This second time, I took one bite of the chicken Marsala-style dish, and it was incredibly over salted, leaving an after taste. The pasta for the spaghetti were chow mein noodles in a big lump, cooked unevenly, with a thick layer of brownish red sauce. Visually unappealing, and I did not even care to try it after the bite of the chicken. Inexpensive ingredients probably keep pricing competitive, but unfortunately the flavors do not make up for it either.

Off the charts amazing. This food was worth the wait. You know when you order and in this day and age you expect everything immediately. If it takes more than 10 mins, you throw a little fit. This is worth the wait. I would wait forever. This pasta is like ambrosia from the heavens. The bread and pesto precursor is perfect and addictive. However, there has never been such incredible pasta. I cherish my burps today because they remind me of the dinner last night. Chicken was hands down most flavorful and juicy we’ve ever had. We had to circle around the block because we missed the entrance which is easily overlooked by the dozens of little entrances adjacent. You can tell it’s a family atmosphere. You get old world vibes. We’re just sad they only do gnocchi once a month! We’ll be back 5/29!

Great casual dining Italian food. I don't usually care for meat filled pasta but I had the meat tortellini and they were great.

This is one of the best restaurants in OC for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Hands down.

Amazing service and super delicious food. I have Celiac so I needed something gluten free and had a delicious GF chicken fettuccine alfredo. My family loved their meals as well. Would highly recommend!Dietary restrictions: Took great care to be sure I was safe to eat the dishes I ordered. (GF)

Been coming here since the place was across and down the street (1990).Specifically with regards to this trip, got the entraña steak with a spaghetti+marinara side, and a beef empanada. The empanada was perfectly fried, all of the elements inside very tasty! The main course didn't disappoint. Such a nice piece of Argentine beef prepared to perfection! The spaghetti is freshly made in-house (not out of a box) and the marinara is very light, not heavy and acidic.I didn't shop at their little "market", but the emotion to take a pastry or something for the road was definitely there. All in all, great price for the food and service provided!

Not a trendy or romantic place but the eggplant empanada was AMAZING! I had a spinach one also, which was good, but not as good as the eggplant one. I wish I had ordered more to go. The pasta my kids ordered looked ok, so did the cheeseburger.
