I just had a potpie from Pop pies Co. and wow! I had the traditional chicken potpie and it was delicious. The chicken was so tender, the veggie portion was great and the flavors were out of this world. I am not much of a pie person but this was more delicious than I thought it would be!

I was invited to a work group lunch where a bunch of these pies were picked up and brought to my office. I am a proud foodie and was intrigued by this small pie place in OC. I had the pork pie and it was incredibly tasty. No scrimping on the amount of meat. A nice sized meal for those with a hearty appetite. To make sure it wasn't a one off experience I went there this past weekend to grab a few pies. Finally had the chicken version and it was just as good as the pork one. Very flaky, buttery crust. I also grabbed one of the breakfast pies to go and enjoyed that for breakfast this morning. This is definitely a nice new addition to my eat out list of places. Just wish it was closer to my home in Santa Monica!Highly recommended.

Most of the reviews here are....let's just say it's easier to put reviews in here that are imaginative instead of say, other review platforms.Used to supply for them and they would allegedly cut their ingredients with starch. By alot. Just saying allegedly for legal purposes.

This is such a great breakfast place! I love starting my day with the ham, bacon, chive & cheese quiche. It's so savory and delicious especially when eating after it's been warmed up! The staff here are always so nice and welcoming. And it's always so nice to try out the things that they recommend. Been going here for over 2 years now and they never disappoint! It's also located in a great spot being in between an ice cream shop and a donut shop. It also has tons of parking nearby! Would recommend to all my friends.

Food was ok. When I was Australia years ago I had pie face and that was so good. I was hoping that this would come close to it but it wasn't. First bite and I can see the difference. It's quite dry and doesn't have the gravy and tender steak I had expected. Service: the front counter person was having a bad day or something but when I was standing there they kept walking in and out without saying anything to me. After awhile they finally came out with this wtf can I get you like my presence was a bother. It was night and day attitude compare to sidecar where the person helping me was so sweet and friendly.

Pop Pie never disappoints! I love all of their seasonal flavors and always look forward to what will be on the menu next. My favorite sweet pie of theirs will be continue to be their classic apple crumble, which has fun notes of citrus incorporated into the base. Another favorite is the honey bourbon pecan pie - the bourbon flavor is not too overwhelming and it has a generous nutty top layer... however only available during the fall! These are the perfect slices to pick up for a birthday, get together, or just a mid day treat! I will say that they are a little pricey per slice and sometimes the crust is on the thicker/hard side, but always delicious (plus friendly staff!).

Little shop, that's next to duck donuts. They have a pie menu, along with sides such as mashed potato and corn. Aside from savory pies, they also have a good amount of pies for dessert as well. The pecan pie was good, and you have the option of leaving it cold or having it toasted up. The other item we got was the Chicken Pie, which tasted good but had a lot of filling inside.

These meat pies are truly amazing. Really if you like meat pies they are all amazing, haven’t tried the veggie yet but I’m sure it will be bomb.Would like to know if there is any way to get the steak and ale pie without mushrooms, just a personal dislike to them but the pie is still a 11/10 outstanding.Found this hiddengem and will expose it to everyone I know love this place and the pies

Been here a few times so this review is overdue. Good portion for the individual pies, the flavors are great, the pastry is buttery and flacky as it should, and the server is friendly. They also sell take-home pies with raw dough for $1 less per.My party got the Chicken Pot Pie and Steak and Ale, along with a Cold Brew. I enjoyed the chicken filling but my party said the chicken was overcooked. The Steak and Ale had large soft chunks of steak, very pleasant to the mouth. The Cold Brew was too sour.I did not try their pies or ice cream (the ice cream shop is connected to the restaurant), but it's hard when a popular donut place (Sidecar) is adjacent to the restaurant. I drive out to this plaza only because these two (Pop Pie and Sidecar) are destination shops.

BEST ICE-CREAM I'VE EVER HAD. THIS IS OFFICIALLY THE BEST place and everything is home-made! It's a craft what they do here and Tanya was perfect. I will be back!

I would definitely recommend eating it fresh instead of taking it to-go. The service was friendly & told us how to reheat it at home. The place was clean & wasn't busy. Parking was ample. It is on the pricey side, like $10- something for a mini pie. The pie we got took us 2 tries to heat up fully but the crust was already hard after the first heating-up so it was hard to cut & bite into. The egg was the best part but the rest tasted a lot like hashbrowns. I like that they included sour cream & bacon in the pie. It was sweet & savory like a breakfast omelette but very dry. I really love all things breakfast so I'm disappointed in the pie but happy I got to try.

The service here is phenomenal. I have now made 2 stops here. I brought my out of town friends to sidecar for a treat and we wound up with doughnuts, pie and ice cream samples. Everything was so good I ended up bringing another out of town friend back. The first trip we had a guava and cheese hand pie and a Sausage roll. Both were good, I felt the sausage roll was flavorful- lots of sage, but just needed the tiniest bit of added salt. The guava cheese roll was perfect to me- more cheese than guava but my friends wanted more guava. The second trip was the pecan and key lime pie. I realize I am a traditionalist with pie and the key lime was absolutely sublime! (Ha!) the cream on top was perfection. The pecan pie had orange notes and that just threw me off. The staff checked in on how I liked it and when I didn't rave she suggested a replacement. The only problem is I liked the replacement so much I forgot to get a photo! The salted maple pie was custard-y and the crust was flaky and a perfect balance to the sweetness. These are small shops, get in, get the goods and get out. A few tables outside. But it's totally worth it for the great treats.
