I really love this place — their pizzas are incredibly delicious. The tomato sauce especially leaves an amazing flavor. However, I do have one small criticism: whenever I want to order a pizza with sausage or meat, all of the options are made with pork. Unfortunately, I’m allergic to pork, so I can’t try those pizzas, even though they look great. I hope the restaurant can consider offering alternative non-pork options in the future.

For a $40+ pizza I expected a little bit more. I ordered the Houston jalapeño and while there is plenty of pepperoni and jalapeños on the pizza it had almost no cheese. Essentially just the dough, sauce and toppings. There is maybe one small slice of mozzarella melted onto every other piece. Half of the slices have ZERO CHEESE on them. Not sure if it was made incorrect or this is just the way it comes. Very disappointing pizza especially for $45 out the door.

I have had the original Prince street in Lower Manhattan & I also had it at the Pasadena location. The original one in New York of course is phenomenal & the Pasadena location is very good also yet I’m not able to say the same about this location.
A friend & I came here on a weeknight & ordered a Sicilian pie which does come with a good amount of sauce yet our pizza came drowned in sauce to the point where it had soaked through the bottom of the box.
I can understand this being a one time mishap yet on another occasion I ordered a standard cheese pizza & this one was bone dry to where you can compare it to a Saltine cracker with dried cheese on top of it.
I have loved Prince street going back to the time that I lived in New York City but honestly I’m disappointed that the one location close to my present area is such a let down 😟

The best pizza I’ve had in years! The sauce was perfectly flavorful, the crust was perfectly crunchy and chewy and the service was genuinely kind. We ordered the Fancy Prince. We’ll be coming back to try other pies and dreaming of it in between.

Good but not something you want to come back to often. Not too consistent and an average Sicilian style slice that will appeal to those who like a very heavy and oily pizza. Dough is just okay.

Today I visited for the first time after bookmarking this spot several months ago. It unfortunately didn’t meet the expectations set by my high anticipation:
This location is mostly designed for takeout. There is zero indoor seating. There are two shallow shelves that act as countertops (one chest height for an adult, one lower one near the front door marked with an accessible placard). I unfortunately couldn’t enjoy my hot pizza right out of the oven because the couple ahead of me dominated the chest height counter, and the lower counter faced the hot window looking out to the street. With it being 90 degrees outside, I was ultimately forced to take the pizza home (30 minute commute) and enjoy only a few warm bites and a mostly melted soda.
The experience above cost $14 for two slices and a drink. I could have had a better experience at Costco for $3 - regretful once I tasted the pizza. While the argument could be made regarding quality or combination of ingredients to make the pizza, it doesn’t matter so much when the pizza gets cold and is beyond reheating (as the slices are pulled from a glass counter and reheated before handing over to you).
The only positive aspect of my experience was interacting with the staff. I was greeted and served kindly, and they chatted with me as I waited. Despite the rather aggressive hand-painted pizza box sign above the kitchen that says they “do not serve ranch, blue cheese, ketchup, mayo,” the staff thankfully do not have the same rough vibe.
Moreover, their “Not Ranch” was not only somewhat hypocritical, but also not…tasty. Perhaps they might consider taking down the sign and just offering regular ranch instead.
Save money and disappointment and go somewhere else for hot pizza.
