New ownership with ZERO chicken ramen options unlike the previous owner who had an amazing garlic spicy chicken ramen. I have no idea why they chose to get rid if the chicken? Chicken ramen isnt too hard to make so im not sure why..Warning: only pork options here and a small boring menu with only pork
Twas a first time visiting this underrated gem ? ramen noodle shop!I was with a group of Japanese who wanna try vegan experiences and they enjoyed the ramen very much! They also tried meat based but still they enjoyed it a lot. A few even said it’s better than meat one! I think that’s a good compliment for it!I personally loved it and I drunk even the last drop of the soup!Come for those who are vegan/vegetarian and enjoy plant based!Cheers ?
The old owner retired a couple months ago so the shop is under new management, and with it comes a new menu. While I miss my go-to order of tantan ramen and chashu quesadilla, the new menu focuses mostly on the ramen. The miso ramen has a new smokey taste to it which I enjoy, and the noodles are just as good as before (maybe even better). The chashu slices might be a bit fatty for some but that's how I like it. Overall still a good price and great taste! Crossing my fingers they bring back the tantan ramen again!
Wow this is one of the best ramen soup that I ever have. Nice full rich taste with a lot of ingredients and the service is amazing.Definitely I'll come back and next time with my wife for sure.
This is one of my favorite ramen restaurant in Orange County, the ramen is great and the broth is delicious!
Simple menu. Great ramen. Three tables and a side table so seating can be a hit or miss. Attracts a variety of people on this low key hotspot.
I don’t usually leave reviews but this is hands down my new favorite ramen spot. The serving sizes are perfect and the noodles and meats are all cooked to perfection. Spicy miso is absolutely perfect and their edamame is delicious and unique. Some friends and I went there last night after having a few beers and were in shock at how good the food was. We came near closing time and the staff was very welcoming with even the owner himself being there to talk with us and take care of us. Very nice guy, talkative and humble. The location is on the small side so you can’t fit too many people in there, but the food is worth the wait if there’s a line most certainly.Beats the socks off of all the other ramen spots that are nearby, hands down!If you want ramen, go here. You won’t be disappointed.
I’m a world traveler — and this Vegan Ramen is one of the best I’ve had!!!!
Authentic Japanese ramen. It's a small mom and pop restaurant with relatively low prices, so would definitely recommend over a traditional Japanese restaurant.
10/10 great value for the money and amazing Ginger tea and all the sauces are home make

Oh no the Tsukemen is finye from their menu! The ramen broths are still great tasting.
Honestly, I've hesitated to review this place for years because it's my favorite ramen joint and I never wanted it to get more crowded. But with them finally being open again on the regular, after I thought they were gone forever? I want this hidden gem to succeed and thrive! The food here is outstanding. There's no other way to put it. No matter what you order, it's fresh, flavorful, and just plain perfect. Yes, I'm a white dude from the east coast, so YMMV; but if you like perfectly-caramelized chashu or heavenly, tender chicken, rich broths with delicate, complex flavoring, and exquisitely-cooked noodles, you'll be happy here.Perhaps most notably, RZ also offers exceptional vegan ramen - not a sad-by-comparison afterthought, but multiple (!) carefully-concocted brews that will knock the socks off anyone, vegan or not. Feed your veg friends here for a rare surprise. Other spots just can't compare.I haven't eaten inside the restaurant since before covid, because that's not within my personal risk tolerance. (It was actually the last restaurant where I ate indoors - I had to get that one last bowl in!) But I know that they currently have plexi barriers between tables, and they tend to keep the door open for air circ. Staff mask adherence is probably as good as it is at any other OC food establishment. Staff demeanor is, as always, gracious, attentive, and friendly. They don't pick up the phone, and they don't have an ordering website, so just go there and order. I heard today that they're only open for lunch at the moment - hopefully they'll re-open dinner service soon.Portions are sizable, an order of ramen often makes two meals for me. Even so, get some fried rice for the fridge, if they have it, and thank me later. ??? ??
Super fresh! Hearty Ramen with incredible flavor!!
I've been looking for these flavors since I visited Tokyo on my honeymoon. Delicious pork cutlet with curry. Place was great. Parking is easy. Atmosphere is perfect for a business lunch.
I’ve been to this spot 4 years ago and I loved the food but I drove from LA to here because the hours said they are open 6-8pm and wasted a trip to find out they weren’t going to open. Definitely call ahead of times for hours of operation because we will be sadly disappointed showing up to any empty restaurant
