Was in the area and looking for a sandwich place. Found this little gem hidden away, so we gave it a shot. Did not regret and they certainly delivered. Service was excellent and very friendly. Very clean. Simple to order and not a long wait. Will definitely be going g back whenever we are in the area.

This small sandwich shop is a local gem. Great service, and it's so nice watching people walk in saying high to other patrons that live close by enjoying small talk catching up with fellow neighbors. This place has been serving generations in Newport Beach & Costa Mesa. This place is what makes me love small local shops come by to support and have a great sandwich.

Normally good, but for some reason they are OBSESSED with putting mustard on sandwiches where it wasn’t asked. My ticket even says no mustard (it is NOT checked) and they slathered it all over. I don’t know why it is impossible for sandwich places to just look at the ticket and not put mustard on a sandwich. For the price of the sandwich, absolutely unacceptable.
If you get food to go, do NOT trust them, and make sure you check your food.
One of the best old school sandwich shops, it's been there for decades and it's just as good as ever. They make it exactly how you like it, ingredients are top notch, and it's a cool little place to have a sandwich and some chips or potato or macaroni salad.
