I was disappointed. It was so much smaller than I thought it would be. Drinks were mid. Service was ok. Ambiance blew chunks. How were there no seats in a bar.

Very cute space, but according the the manager, “the hours are not representative of the business”. Our group of 5 arrived at 10:40 believing they closed at midnight like the online hours stated. The place was packed and looked fun but the bartender told us they had already done last call and refused service. Customers drinks were full and looked freshly made too. Confusing and disappointing.Would recommend fixing your posted hours if you’re going to refuse service while the bar is packed.

Cool, little (and I mean really small) speakeasy bar. Eclectic, steampunk type theme. Would rate higher if it was a bit bigger as more than 8 people might fill the place. Drinks were expensive and just ok.

Oh, prepare to have your mind blown! ? They make Mocktails: for when you want to feel fancy without the fuzzy aftermath. ??‍♂️

Great spot for unique and eclectic cocktails. Cozy space, and can get busy.

Top shelf alcohol is appropriately 15% higher than the norm and 30% higher than various dive bars. The food was good, and the service was good/attentive.

Great atmosphere and great drinks. Too small for larger groups but perfect for a date night.

Very fun atmosphere, drinks were over priced for how simple they were.

One of the best places in the area for drinks. Mix that with a lo-fi DJ on certain days + an animistic ambiance and you have a potent concoction for a sultry evening. Speaking concoctions, “An Incan Ruin” is a veritable elixir of mysticism x flavor. 10/10 would recommend.

Cool little bar serving some of the craftiest drinks in OC. Open later than every other cocktail bar in the area. If you're trying to get a real cocktail late night, this is your spot.

This charming hidden bar is located in the LAB off of Bristol in Costa Mesa. Ruin offers a whimsical atmosphere, along with fantastic cocktails to boot. The cocktails on their own are delightful and need no assistance with ambiance. It's an added pleasure that you can enjoy your drink amongst enchanting bohemian décor. A friend and I had the pleasure of trying two different cocktails featuring Mescal, and they were both delicious and refreshing. The courtyard adorned with old carnival rides that have since been retired and eclectic seating placed under a nearby tree suited with lights bringing in ambiance plus. This bar is an ideal spot for a fun night out or a memorable first date.
