Had a birthday party of four. Everyone had the wild salmon and loved it! We like the year-round cedar planked salmon, but the wild salmon, risotto and asparagus were outstanding! And Bri was a great sever! Another great evening at Seasons 52.

Spent another evening at S52 for pre-theater dining. As our go to place in Costa Mesa for pre-theater dining, S52 has never disappointed in the last 15 years we have been coming here. The seasonal menu is always appealing, and food is always great, and the wine pairings are the best, with an impressive array of wines by the glass and the bottle. And yes they have other cocktails if you prefer, but will always find a great pairing for your dinner here. The grilled artichoke appetizer was a hit with our table, as were the entrees: seared scallops, rotisserie chicken (1/2 chicken), and the wood grilled filet mignon; all were freshly prepared and delicious. And don't miss the tempting dessert shots for that something extra sweet at the end. Just a few notes this particular go round: our waitress was a little distracted and our service was a little awkward because of the split table service arrangement she had: no bread came with the bread basket that was to accompany our appetizer, and the server didn't think to look; we had to ask for it....and my order for double espresso was forgotten and only a single was served once reminded. Other servers also assisted with our table, making some of the service tolerable. Bar seating: Sitting at the lone table on the right side of the bar is not an ideal location given the louder crowd we were located next to at the bar. And we sorely miss the piano player in the bar.

Our server was spot on...she gave us the speicals, answered questions, gave us time to chat, and was attentive without being pushy. The watermelon and feta salad was good; needed a bit more feta and tomatoes. The seabass was outstanding and so was the salmon. The scallops needed more seasoning and of the sauce as they were a bit dry.

I was first time. At this restauran atmosphere was good.The food was good.I was not rushed to leave my table.It was a nice environment. They have bar sitting area outside sitting area and inside.At this time, we've sat inside and it was nice.Quite enough where we can have a nice conversation. All good or I recommend this Restaurant.

This is the only place that actually paid attention to my optional comments about the occasion and wrote a birthday card and sign ahead of time and set up a table. Great service, good portion, must-try flatbread, and the seafood was cooked tender. Complementary dessert for the birthday boy
