It’s okay. Very acidic wines. Very fresh and cold and acidic and sour! As the name predicts, it’s classical of semi tropical wines.

We had a bottle of wine and some snacks. Everything was great, from food, wine, to service and atmosphere. They are also dog friendly.

Dietary restrictions: Gluten free snack options

Asks for tip on top of automatic 20% gratuity (Edit - owner did issue refund and fix tipping system).

This place is awesome, one of the only wine bars I’ve seen in SoCal that has an emphasis on natural wines and skin-contact wines. Our server was amazing, she had a ton of recommendations and was super friendly! The tinned fish plate was also bomb they have great sardines

I have been wanting to checkout Semi Tropic wines for a few months and I’m happy it worked out! Orange County is very limited when it comes to natural wine bars, making this location a sweet snob’s haven. I was greeted by Haley who was incredibly helpful and welcoming. She was great at making suggestions and I thoroughly enjoyed the house orange wine I had that is served on tap. It was delicious. Thank you Haley for elevating my experience!I was able to browse the bottle shop and took home a German orange wine that they also sell by the glass that is delicious. The location is a great spot nestled between two other bars. The decor and lighting is very chic and relaxing. They have food pop-ups all the time, making it a place to go back and visit. It’s exciting this place exists in OC! Parking is the only tough situation, but it seems people park in the lot across the street. Thank you STW!

Small and quaint place that has a wonderful staff and selection of wines. The service was fantastic. I usually will not give 5 stars for a mandatory service charge. I honestly like tipping more if service is good (and we did), and always find the mandatory fee strange and some places like to hide it (they did not). Either raise prices and pay a living wage, or follow the state tipping wage and let us tip your fantastic staff! I know it’s a tough choice to make and I am sure you all made yours with calculated minds. Anyway, cute place either way!Recommend the cheese board for sure, and this is a cool place for a date. Parking in back (limited) makes it easily accessible. It is pricey but nothing shocking.

Great atmosphere, and spot to go, but pricing is a bit too steep now. A charcuterie board and 2 glasses of wine will cost you $100..

Spoiler alert: The wine here gets you drunk and the drunkenness creates hangovers. Jazz was good though. Bassist looked like multiverse variant of Haley Joel Osment.

One of the best places I've been to on my SoCal visits! If you're into natural wines or want to learn, this is the place to be. Staff is friendly, they have delicious wines on tap, or you can buy bottles on their cute shop. They have different activities during the week (jazz, pop ups, tastings, etc), food is good, pet friendly, beautiful interiors and exteriors. I love everything about this place!

Short, small, mostly foam, tap-pours. Limited seating and space. Most upsetting is that we charged a 25% gratuity even though we were 2 people who each had one beverage and we weren't told about the charge until after the bar tender swiped my credit card. There was no bill delivered, simply a verbal statement of the what the two drinks "cost", then she swiped the card. Then I found out there was a FORCED gratuity because she handed me a receipt that was 25% higher than what she quoted. I do not recommend this place.
