Trying this place out for the first tome. I have the Mr Fennel, & it’s quite tasty. It’s not saucy, not doughy, & not covered in cheese. Crust is not thin & crispy. I don’t like saucy pizza so it worked out great. It has good selections of flavor.

I have tried several of the options at Sugo before, but the Chorizo Pastor truly stands out. It has a nice kick and an amazing balance of flavor. The crust is crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and every bite feels fresh and thoughtfully made.
I paired it with a Sicilian Blood Orange soda, which complemented it perfectly. The cozy atmosphere, creative decor, and friendly team make it an easy favorite. Helpful staff members like Jeseila truly bring the place to life — you can feel the positive energy the moment you walk in.

The crust is unlike any other! I've truly never had anything like it. It's thicker like a deep dish pizza (but not as thick), but much airier and lighter, and a bit chewy like bread, and CRUNCHY! Such a satisfying texture. Reminds me almost of super crunchy and less thick focaccia. I'M OBSESSED!
I ended up trying the following flavors: Carnivora Slice, Contadina, Chorizo Pastor, Aloha, and the Rosa. ALL OF THEM WERE DELICIOUS! It's truly hard for me to pick my favorite as I think it will probably come down to personal preferences as well. Again, Sugo's pizza is so special and different compared to other pizzas I've had.
The Aloha slice (mozzarella, Italian ham, fresh fresno chilis, green onions, sriracha aioli, pickled pineapple, furikake) was one of the best hawaiian slices I've ever had! Loved the use of prosciutto and the abundance of fresh pineapple, chilis, and green onions on top. Helped it feel more light and fresh compared to other pizzas!
The Rosa slice (vodka sauce, purple onions, fresh basil, parmigiano) was simple, but delicious. No frills, no fuss, just a good base of pizza. I loved the vodka sauce with the sweet, crunchy purple onions. So simple, so good.
The Carnivora slice (Italian sausage, pepperoni, mozzarella cheese, house made tomato sauce) was a delicious, meaty slice. Pepperoni is great, but man is there sausage good here! Definitely recommend getting a slice with sausage on it.
The Contadina (italian sausage, caramelized onions, aged parmigiano and chopped chives) was one of my favorite slices. It had an inherent sweetness to it from the onions which was TO DIE FOR, especially since all the other slices were a bit salty. AND AGAIN, the sausage is amazing!!!
The Chorizo Pastor (mexican spicy sausage, purple onion, pineapple, fresh jalapeno, jalapeno cream sauce and micro cilantro) slice was definitely the most unique one of them all. It was one of the most flavorful pizzas! AND IT HAD SO MANY TOPPINGS. AND IT'S SPICYYY. Love the burn. It tasted like a taco on a pizza. I think it is definitely fun to try at least once and I can see myself ordering it again here and there. But if I'm craving pizza, I don't know if I would order this as it doesn't hit the spot as pizza because of the flavors. Kinda comes off as a pizza/sandwich/taco hybrid. Nevertheless, it is still quite yummy!!!
SIDENOTE: definitely order a side of ranch and their chili oil/crack sauce
Overall, AMAZING PIZZA! I will 10000% be back to try all the other flavors. The obvious standouts: the crust and the sausage

I had seen a few review videos for Sugo, and it absolutely lived up to the hype! The dough is easily one of the best I’ve ever had—light, flavorful, and perfectly baked. My personal favorite option was the pepperoni, which was outstanding. The service was just as impressive—our server was so kind and even surprised me with a Nutella dessert for my birthday, which made the experience extra special. While the seating is limited and it feels more like a takeout-style spot, the quality of the pizza makes it well worth a visit.

I really liked the pizza here. Fresh ingredients etc. I tried Aloha and then the Chorizo Castor. It was my first time here so i didnt know They put some sauce on each and the one on Chorizo was really spicy. I personally dont think Pizza should be spicy 😀 but it was still good. Aloha was great.

We were nervous as their pizza options sounded almost too interesting, but they did live up to their ability to taste good while sampling non-traditional ingredients. We got a bunch of slices (summer special, calabrese, contadina, margherita, Japanese) and that's the way to go so you can sample a bunch. Certainly some worked better than others but they were all fairly tasty. I will say I walked in for takeout and despite all of these options being available in my immediate vicinity, for some reason it took a fairly long time for them to be heated/ready for takeout.

I think this place was too hyped on IG. The pizza is definitely good if you were to eat it right after you get it. I bought many slice to go and the ones that cooled down tasted just alright. I had high hopes it would beat the pizza from the Eataly joint, but not as good. It's still a great pizza, just not I'll drive across town for this great.
