Haven't been able to come on my lunch brakes for well over a year now ever since they changed to a 2pm opening. Very sad about it. Not 5 stars for that reason alone, but they still have the best vegan Mexican food I have ever tried.

Was craving some vegan Mexican food and El Zamorano did not disappointment. I had the Asada burrito with a side of chips and guacamole. The flavors were fantastic and the texture for the asada plant based meat was spot on. They make their own protein varieties 😲 😋 Can’t wait to go back!

love all of the options, both the tacos i had were a little too spicy for my taste (esp the fish, and al pastor was also spicy), but i would definitely go back and try some of the other options and/or ask for sauce on the side, also the outdoor seating was very cute but right next to the road so a bit loud, also the signage on the outside of the restaurant isn’t the most clear, so it took me a second to find it (right on the corner!) We go there often for tacos, quesadillas and burritos. Everything tastes great. They have outdoor patio sitting and hence can sit with the dogs. The quesadillas are really tasty. Loved the cali burrito which I ordered one time. Their fish tacos were really good.

Very yummy tacos here! And there's a beautiful outdoor patio area that you can sit at, *not if you order takeout, though. The food is ready so quickly. I tried the al pastor, asada, and carnitas tacos and they were all flavorful and satisfying.

Had the crunch with Chorizo & my friend had the potato tacos. Food was delicious.

I live in Los Angeles and head here when I’m in OC. The Chile rellenos and all their tacos, quesadillas (pro tip—the corn tortillas are made in house), and burritos are incredible. They have their vegan meats down. Tiny and only open limited hours but worth it!

Fish (aka portobello) taco’s. Spot on flavor. Definitely satisfied my taco fix #Veganuary

The food here was out of this world. The California burrito was sooo good the only problem was the portions were a little bit small for the price. If you are a smaller eater you wouldn’t care but when I eat Mexican I want it to be more of a gut bomb. The ingredients and the sauces well e also good. My friend said he liked it a lot but left a little hungry. If El Zamorano was just a little more Generous with the portions this place would be packed all the time.

This place is excellent! Ordered the chips and guac, asada Crunchwrap, carnitas quesadilla. Chips were especially amazing, but it was all great! Tasted pretty realistic to me too.

This was the best California burrito I've ever had.

as a mexican, i feel very inclined to find vegan places that sell authentic mexican food and i just found it! today i visited with my best friend & we shared the asada torta. the meat resembled actual meat and it was pretty savory and filling. the chips and salsa on the side were also super yummy and i really enjoyed the salsa (even added some to the torta). def want to come again to try their tacos.
