What a terrific Japanese "handroll only" restaurant to have in the neighborhood. It is a scaled down fast food version of a sushi bar serving handrolls', soups and bowls. You can get beer and saki and the food is quite delicious. The staff is friendly and the selection is very good. I have yet to have a sub par meal here and I am probably on my 51st visit. Note that ‘this is not a sit down-be served restaurant and that none of the females working there were of Japanese descent ( not that that would make a big difference... but it does.) The salmon skin roll was good. i can’t remember what the other one was but it was unmemorable. believe it’s $5.00 a roll. I think I can get better at a sit down restaurant.
This cute little chain eatery is a nice alternative to all the sushi and poke places out there. You can get a variety of fresh fish either in hand rolls or in a bowl, at reasonable prices. This place really cures my 'sushi' cravings. And they are really fast when ordering take out!
