The Cheese Shop at The Mix

Some sandwiches are good. They insist on bad service which is a bit of a frustration

I thought it was just a cheese shop. I was wrong. It's not a full on deli per se, but the Sandwich and sliced cheese and meat option are above standard. The hot Italian sandwich I ordered was prepared fresh and was excellent. I do wish they offered a few lunch combos perhaps to increase the value just a bit but the quality of the items is definitely there

Had a problem with the delivery of my charcuterie board, but the staff at the Cheese Shop jumped right in and helped me find the Door Dash driver who was not moving. They were responsive and very kind. The board was delivered late, but the presentation and the high quality of the items made it worth the wait! Outstanding customer service and outstanding cheese!

Amazing pastrami sandwich & delicious charcuterie plate! Perfect combo for our Sunday brunch. Terry is awesome! Really knowledgable & cares about her customers’ experience. Shout out to JennyKate! She made our 1st experience excellent.

Mu husband and I always get the pastrami sandwich and another dish because we like to try different dishes when we eat out, so we go halvsees. Idk if I have a good picture to share, but I do love to take pictures when my hubby and I eat out...it is rare that we go out to eat because we love eating in. We usually eat here when the SOCO farmers market is going on in the parking lot, or Sundays after church. It is a relaxing quite quiet place. We both don't like to be where it is loud and busy. It is like a sanctuary...and we go to The Sanctuary church, so yeah ;)

Never been here before. I went in and browsed for about 5mins and both people in front were busy to even greet me or acknowledge me. Menu looks great. But if I’m ignored I feel like I’m not welcomed, so I left. Great customer service if you get me sarcasm

First time trying this place. Mayra helped us out and made our order, she was very kind! I loved everything about our board, so tasty and pretty (: we got the Demi 2 cheese and 1 meat, and added an additional meat

I ordered the “Hot Italian” sandwich to go and after ~5 mins, I’m handed a brown paper bag. I sit down to eat it, open the bag, and am flabbergasted to see my sandwich just thrown in the bag - literally no wrapping, just a whole sandwich in the bag. Pepperoncinis were all over the bottom. I immediately walk back to the counter and ask for napkins (they didn’t provide any) and had to reconstruct this sandwich myself to eat it.

For an $18 sandwich, I expected better service and a bit more meat inside (sandwich doesn’t come with a side or anything else). The sandwich itself was tasty but nothing amazing and certainly not good value. This is disappointing because The Mix is a really nice area to work during the day, but I don’t plan on coming back to The Cheese Shop for lunch.

They have a great selection of cheese but I feel like their customer service was lacking on the day I went. I ordered to go, they gave me a number tag for the table, and they did not bother to bring me my order. I only got my order because i went up to the counter after 30 minutes. It was hidden behind the cash register. Probably not buy from here again.

Who would have guessed that a little cheese shop in a design center would have such an excellent selection of cheeses and some GREAT grilled sandwiches!!!I absolutely loved the Granny Smith sandwich. It’s a mix of turkey, sharp cheddar, apples, arugula. The bread is high quality. Highly recommend!!

Terry is THE BEST! I was looking for a nutty cheese to pair with red wine and she knew what I was looking for! This place is my store from now on♥️

I called in a panic because I needed a charcuterie board for a company event for the next day. Terry was able to accommodate my request and made sure I was able to get my order in time. I am out of state trying to coordinate my event and the presentation on this was amazing and very impressive. Her professional and understanding made this happen. Thank you again the event was a success!!
