I absolutely love the pies from The Flaky Apple Co. They use natural, fresh ingredients, and you can really taste the difference. I appreciate how the pies aren’t overly sweet—they let the natural flavors of the ingredients shine through. While I’ve heard some mention that their pies can be a bit runny, this is because they use minimal starch and sugar as thickening agents. If you’re patient enough to let the pie set after it comes out of the oven, you’ll find it’s no issue at all.
Their pies offer the perfect blend of convenience and quality, giving you that “ready-to-bake” ease while delivering a flavor that’s rich, homemade, and crafted with care. We even call them our “lucky pies” because every time we have something important—like a job interview, SAT/ACT for the kids, or a college application—we bake one of their pies for good luck! Their pies also have became our Thanksgiving tradition.
One time, I baked their pecan pie for a last-minute dinner invitation, and it was a huge hit. Even though I made sure to mention it was from The Flaky Apple Co., everyone was still impressed with my “baking skills!” Lol.
Our all-time favorite flavors are (in no particular order): chocolate mousse, strawberry rhubarb, pecan, and the award winning mac & cheese pulled pork pie.
I always try to keep at least two of their pies in my freezer for those lazy days or busy nights. They never disappoint!

The best pies I’ve ever had and Brooke is amazing! I love the idea of baking the pies at home but not having to do the work of making them! The pumpkin crumb is bomb! She also has gluten free and vegan pies:) Since I’ve moved, I tried one other place and was not impressed, so Brooke’s pies have set the standard high 🔥

Brooke's pies are the best! I love the ease of baking them myself so they are fresh from the oven when we are ready for them. The instructions are super easy to follow and everything you need is packaged up nicely in the box. We have baked several of her pies over the years and they have all turned out perfectly. Her boysenberry pie is my absolute favorite! The crust is so flaky and the balance of sweet and tangy filling is delicious. We also love her turnovers. Highly recommend!

I’ve been a Flaky Apple customer for over five years. It’s the best of both worlds: the convenience of having a pie on hand in your freezer whenever you need it, combined with that freshly baked, made from scratch taste. And you can still tell your friends you baked it 😉 So much better than anything you can buy at Costco or the grocery store (no gummy crusts or preservatives), this is truly an artisan product. You can’t go wrong with the classic flavors, but my family especially loves the Triple Berry Apple and Pumpkin Crumb (which all our “non pumpkin loving” relatives took seconds of last Thanksgiving). Also- the coziest, easiest meal: one of the FA savory pies + a salad and no dishes! Every time I order, I throw in one extra pie and then when a busy night or unexpected guests pop up I’m so glad I had it on hand. Totally recommend to make your life easier and more delicious!
