My friends and I were denied entry at first. We had started to walk towards the entrance, went back to the car to grab ONE jacket. The bouncer followed up across the parking lot to the car and then said we weren’t going to be let in. He also told us to leave the parking lot, which is crazy because it’s a shared business parking lot. We went to the door to speak with him and he said we were drinking out of the trunk. There were no open containers, no one was drinking, but because theres a box in the trunk, we were being denied entry. you’re allowed to have closed containers in the trunk of a car!

I asked to speak with a manager or supervisor and he said there wasn’t one. ok so who is in charge? this wasn’t the right way to handle this. and eventually, another staff member came out to talk to us and the bouncer. the bouncer literally told him that he didn’t see anyone drinking nor any open containers. and the guy let us in! so he was just on a power trip? and there was someone above you present at the time when I asked to speak to a manager?

We went in to use the restroom & left. Don’t waste your time or money. After reading other reviews, it seems like this guy is on a recurring power trip. Get a nicer guy and it will be better for business!

Absolutely disgusting how they treat people. They need better training or need to close. Trust we will never come back. I rather go to the other 100+ pool bars in the area with way better customer service, drinks, food , and over all atmosphere.

overall, it was a good experience. I went there with a couple of friends to have some beers and play some pool. warm and cozy. people were nice. I would probably give it a five star if they had a cocktail waitress to make it easier to get drinks.

This is a neighborhood bar. Everyone is very kind. It is very community oriented. They have pool tables

If you're looking for a chill spot to watch a game, The Huddle is perfect. The place has a great dive bar vibe with friendly locals and good food. I had their loaded nachos, and they were exactly what I needed—crispy, cheesy, and packed with flavor. The beer selection is solid, and the staff makes you feel right at home. It’s a great spot to unwind after a long day or to spend time with friends watching sports.

9 bucks for one Draft Beer or it’s $10 with a credit Card ..? For a pool table bar ?
The staff guy in the ponytail can’t say hello ? No wonder the bar is empty? Needs better management..

I had a very disappointing experience at The Huddle in Costa Mesa. I was asked to show ID, and when I presented my valid U.S. Permanent Resident (Green) Card, they refused to accept it. This is a government-issued form of identification, and there was no clear explanation for why it was rejected.

It felt discriminatory and frankly unprofessional. If staff are going to turn people away for presenting a legal ID, they should be better trained and informed about what qualifies as valid identification in the United States. I won’t be returning, and I hope they update their policy and educate their team to avoid treating others the same way.

The guy at the entrance didn't let us in, even though we had official government identity cards. He was rude, and his earring was ugly.

whoever you have working the “door” is rude as ever.. he clearly needs a promotion for doing the MOST. wouldn’t take my ID even tho it wasn’t expired, was rude to my whole group of friends and then tried to deny them entry after coming out to look for me. foul.. he loves being a rude DOORMAN, you need to teach your staff some manners or continue to lose out on money. no vibes at all, go somewhere else.

Chill dive bar. Very reasonably priced.
