I come over every week for lunches, coffees, and desserts. It's hard not to buy everything. They recently started selling sandwiches that are so delicious. The staff and owner are extremely kind and make great recommendations. I love coming here during my breaks!

I’ve gotten cupcakes a few times and they have been fabulous. But the cake tasting set is incredible and really showed just how good their cakes and frostings are. I love this place and will continue to come here for cakes!

I'm absolutely obsessed with the Shugar Shack! I've gotten two heart cakes in the past from Shirley & her team (who are all super awesome & super kind) and I know I'll keep coming back each birthday. Also, as a matcha lover - this is the place to go if you want a matcha cake (which super hard to find in HB).If you’re looking for delicious cakes and treats, definitely check this place out! You won’t regret it! :)

I live next to and work in the same shopping center as Shugar Shack. I am absolutely addicted and need my Shugar Shack Vietnamese iced coffee and breakfast sandwich several times a week!!! Shirley is incredibly sweet and makes the most beautiful and yummy cakes!

Satisfy your sweet tooth! From cookies, to cakes, to pie slices! There's so many things to choose from. The banana cream pie is one of my go-to's! I've ordered multiple themed dessert plates for holidays and its always a hit with the family! Even had a cake made for a baby shower and everyone loved it 🥰 you wont regret stopping by and grabbing something! Even the cinnamon buns are a staple you need in your life! 😋

I don’t even know where to begin!! The owner is legit the sweetest and always has to best recommendations when I go in!! Her desserts are melt in your mouth delicious!!! I’ve ordered her holiday dessert trays, personalized baby shower cookies and go in just about weekly for all the treaties! 10/10 would recommend!! Thank you again Shirley and the gang!! 🤍🤍🤍🤍

very bad service - waited - nobody came until the bell -
the cupcakes on display were " on hold " so not able to buy ??
when asked if cash or card - cash was given - they did not have changed - was amazed I would wait for them to find change - the lady literally gave me the change and rudely turned and left

Its hard to find a bakery with gluten free, dairy free and sugar free treats but this place has several options and I have enjoyed everyone that I have tried. Staff is friendly too which feels more and more rare in SoCal the past fee years

The bakery is good. The owner (chef) is also nice I met her once . Seems her daughter is also running the shop, very unhospitable, snarky comments, intrusive questions. Several visits where she is working . Shocking for an owner or manager. I never went back.

The pastries are beautiful and the taste is exquisite! I tried the rose latte, delicious ? and my husband had the matcha horchata which was perfectly sweet.

This place is adorable! We ordered a meat pie (not from New Zealand) and Malasada with vanilla cream. We're saving our meat pie for later. The Malasada was delicious!! Yes! Based on our 1 purchase, I highly recommend Shugar Shack. It's super cute. Super clean. The workers looked like they were down to business. The service was excellent. The price was a tiny bit too high, but for a delicious treat once in a while, it was fine.

There are limited vegan options and no vegan milk options. The vegan cupcake was ok, but the options closer to and in LA are better.

AMAZING!! We ordered our wedding cake from here and I just have to say it was phenomenal. We had a gluten free tier on top and regular tier on the bottom and everyone at our wedding absolutely loved it. The gluten free tier was delicious. It is so hard finding good gluten free cake and they knocked it out of the park. You wouldn’t have known it was gluten free if we didn’t tell you. I will definitely order cakes from here again for any and all occasions.

drink labeling is misleading - their menu says they have "boba" but it's crystal/agar boba which has a very different texture to boba that's made with tapioca so it's very misleading when you order if you're expecting "boba" and not crystal boba
