Some of the best tacos I have had in a while. The Baja fish taco was delicious, along with the carne asada taco. Definitely get the guac and chips. Hands down The best guacamole around. The mild salsa was ok, didn’t try the others. It’s a small place that’s always busy, but definitely worth the wait. Staff is friendly and very helpful, always checking on their customers who are waiting.

Courteous service and phenomenal atmosphere. The tacos were pretty tasty but nothing exceptional. I would absolutely recommend the Al pastor. However the asada, is not well seasoned and has a chewy texture. The tortillas and salsas are fabulous and tasty which helps the meat, which leaves room to be desired. Good portion size but still a little pricey.

New favorite burritos in South OC! Out of the three I've had, I'd rank them (1) Al Pastor, (2) California, and (3) Carne Asada. Their churros are also some of the best I've had.

Stopped at the Costa Mesa location on a whim on the last day of vacation, was completely blown away.
Did a Baja taco with a side of very spicy salsa and then a California burrito with a little cilantro salsa on the side. The taco was very good, but this was easily the best burrito I've ever had. By a mile. I won't even be able to feign interest in the burrito chains we have up here in Canada.
Other notes : The staff were warm and friendly, the service was top notch, and the Modelo Especial ice cold. Lots of drink and salsa choices. Try this place if you can.

Food is 10/10 amazing. From the hand made tortillas to the well balanced salsa. The only problem is that it's in this cramped little area making it often difficult to park and even harder to eat in. I recommend ordering to go or for pick up.

This place is sooo good! The tortilla is thick and savory, there's a selection of salsas for everyone, they have at least two great vegetarian options, and the vibe is just awesome. Do not skip this place!
Vegetarian options: The mushroom taco was really good. I don't like onions but I could barely taste them!
Vegetarian options: Tacos/burritos de champiñón (mushroom) and nopales (cactus), as well as bean and cheese burrito, and vegetarian sides
Wheelchair accessibility: Entry way is very narrow, and the restaurant was packed when I went. Someone using an electric wheelchair had trouble navigating the space, but found a table and dined in anyway :)
