I like this place but the menu is kinda weird I ordered a hamburger COMBO and when my food arrived . I ask for a drink and it doesn’t come with it. So I ended up paying for my drink (I don’t mind) but I thought it be included in my COMBO. Service is mediocre

The burger and fries are alright but not worthy of its price. The interior is moody and does not feel very clean. The worst part of my experience was the service where the person at the counter was slow and unfriendly. The food was packaged poorly and half the fries were outside the box they were supposed to be in.

Been coming here for years. The burger is great so I keep coming back but man, the service has been going downhill for a while. And the place is filthy. They finally fixed the torn up seats and the piles of dust everywhere but not sure what took so long. Also, sodas are either completely flat or all soda water with no syrup. They need to really have a present manager cause it’s a mess.
I have been eating here for years! These burgers SLAP! The fries, onion rings, and tots are good too. This is one of my favorite burger joints in the nation.
The turkey burger was phenomenal. Hamburgers were really good. Will definitely be back.

However they do it, the burgers here are delicious. Lots of flavor. Some items can be customized with a chicken breast or an extra patty (or no bun).
The staff here always seem curt and not very friendly, and the booths here seem tired.
But it’s all about the burgers. Compare the burgers here to any other burger place. TK will win every time.

6/28/2024, Friday. This incident happened the same day at 5:30PM in the TK Burger Costa Mesa location. It was my first time at Costa Mesa and was hungry for a lettuce wrap burger. My boyfriend kindly brought me to, according to his core fun young adulthood memory, a really good burger joint.
After my bf ordered, I had a question regarding the menu. I asked the cashier, “What is Veggie Garden Burger?”. Unfortunately, the girl cashier with laminated eyebrows, olive skin, may be Hispanic (didn’t get her name), did not give me a kind treatment. She answered, “What’s included are the condiments listed in front right here (pointing at the glass counter sign).”. I replied, “Okay? But what is a Veggie Garden Burger?”. She responded, “It’s right there, listed in front of you. (Pointed at the sign again).”. I had to rephrase my question, “What is the difference between Impossible Burger from Veggie Garden Burger?”. She said, “Impossible burger is vegan and Veggie Garden is vegetarian.”. I responded, “Oh okay, so no meat of some sorts (thinking beef or pork or chicken on the patty).”. She said, “Yeah. Veggie Burger has cheese and Impossible burger is strictly vegan.” I answered, “Okay. Great. Cause that’s not (pointing at the condiments sign) the answer I was looking for about the burger earlier.”. I chuckled. She answered back with a cantankerous tone and raised her eyebrow, “Well, I answered your question.”. And when I was about tell her that she actually was giving me wrong answers, my boyfriend had to say, “WHOA! Okay, let’s go. Let’s get out of here.”. Because he felt embarrassed that his favorite location was treating us with disrespect to the point where he wants that cashier to be fired as she is terrible with providing basic customer service. Also, it is a very hot place especially during summer. No AC.
I go here at least once a week. Great food, always super quick service.

6/28/24 5:30PM Been going to this spot for over 20 years now. Every single time I went there, the cashiers were really friendly but as of today I am not returning to this location because they were unpleasant and gave us a rude tone of voice when we were just politely asking questions about their menu. The girl with laminated eyebrows needs to be fired because she doesn’t represent any good customer service skills. We walked out the moment she disrespected us.
