Been going to a lot of curry places, this one was fantastic.
The outside doesn't look like much, and inside is small, however where they shine is both food and service.
I got a pork katsu curry with the omelete, added 1 shrimp, 1 sausage, 1 hard boiled egg, and 1 potatoe croquette.
The price to me is insanely low for the amount and quality of food, a very filling meal. While the curry itself is simple it is a great example of comfort food. I went with another and they fully agreed. Fantastic place, will be making drive back.

Love the hole in the wall vibe, like the places you go to in Japan to get your curry

Decided to change it up after my blood labs in irvine every 2 weeks. Ended up getting some Omurice Mixed Veggies Curry with a Pork Katsu Addon. This was ok. I was expecting ketchup rice instead of white rice but I was wrong. The taste was decent but I'd rather go to Coco Ichibanya for curry rice.

This is a place to visit for lunch or dinner. I ordered the pork katsu curry to go. I will say the taste of the curry sauce is meaty and savory.
To explain my 4/5 star rating. My 4/5 stars rating is equivalent to a 5/5 rating in terms of US perspective. I’m rating it based on the Japanese method where a 3/5 meets expectations and nothing more. Tokyo Katsu Curry gets the 4/5 because the taste of the curry is very good.

One of my favorite Japanese curry places in Southern California. Definitely give this place a shot if you’re close by. The restaurant is small but cozy.

Delightful little curry spot. The depth of flavor from the fresh fruits and vegetables really pushed it over the top. Would reccomended to anyone. Had both the pork katsu curry udon and chicken katsu curry.

I found the best Japanese Katsu Curry in Orange County. The Chicken Katsu was very delicious, and the curry sauce had a great taste. The service was so pleasant, which made the food even more delicious. I will definitely come here often.

I'm not usually in this area, so I like to try different places when I get the chance. Stopped by for an early dinner and it wasn't crowded, so I was quickly served. I got the regular katsu curry omelette, which I think was the perfect amount of food. The katsu was soft inside, so no unnecessary chewiness, and the outside nice and crispy. I think the curry was pretty standard, but you add a little extra seasoning from the bottle on the table. Overall, nice little place to stop by if you're craving Japanese curry.

Came here for dinner and was blown away how amazing it was. Matcha latte was sweet but balanced, super refreshing. The shrimp katsu curry was perfect, curry not too spicy as is! I've missed a good curry place in the area, and Tokyo Katsu Curry fills that hole perfectly! Cant wait to come back and have

Real deal Japanese style. Guess the standard of living here is too inflated that they have to charge for fukujinzuke and spicy version….when it’s normally complimentary in Japan
Went here about a month ago and it was delicious. Now the portion sizes are awesome. The curry was pretty awesome, especially if you get the hot one it was savory and hot, I cant say if the other ones are any different but they are going to be great. But overall the food was good, the rice isn't the best of the best but its still good rice. I mean after all you are eating it with curry so its not like you will be tasting the rice only.Overall the dish was a good balance even though i wanted more rice but then again that is just me because i wanted to keep eating ?.Will be back again!!

I wanted to like this place but the food just wasn’t good unfortunately. I had the pork katsu curry with rice and… the pork was dry, the curry tasted weirdly bitter and the rice was also not quality Japanese rice, but on the dryer and sadder side as well. The staff was very nice though.
