Friendly staff and cozy clean shop
The cheese foam had a nice, thick texture. The combination with the Americano was surprisingly good.
Located inside mitsuwas food court. Got the iced hibicha tea. Was pretty good.
Rare places to get matcha with zero sugar
Amazing bubble tea! I bought the Matcha Donchan. The tea quality is high.
Love the jasmine mango tea!
I always love coming here with my Dad! The workers are very helpful and friendly, and I especially love the drinks here. In my humble opinion, Umacha is my favorite place to go to for quality tea and flavorful boba. Even though Umacha is a smaller stand, the atmosphere is very welcoming and the shop itself is very visibly appealing too. The boba is very tasty and never extremely undercooked or overcooked like many boba places I stumble across, and the tea is strong and especially great when they make it fresh there. I recommend the Marry Me Mango at 50% sweetness!
Service was excellent, my first time trying out matcha and i got recommended this strawmat latte. It was delicious and sweet enough. Price is average ~$6 a small size cup. Plenty of seating in the food court of Mitsuwa! Will be returning :) 9/10
Love the quality milktea drinks. My latest obsession is match anything latte. Ordered matched taro latte without sugar today and was warned that it'd taste bitter w/o sugar due to matcha. It's actually really good since the bitterness is balanced out by taro. Highly recommended.
Had the matcha ice cream. Tasted exactly like good matcha - not too creamy or sweet. Best matcha ice cream I’ve ever had. Very deep flavour, highly recommend
Such a great price. Owner recommended their option 1. Best boba tea in Costa Mesa that I have had. The cream cheese added such a different and enjoyable touch to the drink. Definitely recommend this and see this being a top boba shop in the area. Best boba in Orange County
Must try cheese cream jasmine tea with boba.

This is our go to bubble tea store when we are in OC, best grapefruit tea we ever had.
I got the hojicha ice cream. There was a distinct cow taste to the ice cream that I don't like and they top it off with some brown sauce? Idk what it is but the whole thing just tastes off. It is also expensive considering the small size.
Another thing is this place is pretty much self service from ordering to picking up, but they ask for tips and they are stepping up their game and make it a bit more difficult for you to not leave a tip. I don't like this practice and I will not come back
The Ceylon black milk tea is quite good. Not too milky with a strong tea flavor. Recommended to get it at 50% and even then it was quite sweet. The boba is good too.
Came at 3 on Saturday, only one person in line in front of me. When I get to front male cashier is talking to coworkers with me standing there for a good minute. Ordered and drink was good but service was terrible. Also clicked no receipt and didn’t know that my order number was on there. So when two of the same drinks came out # for 130 and #131 I didn’t know which was mine. Both were the Love Me and both added boba. Would be helpful if staff would let you know your number or made it so that the receipt prints out automatically so you have your number on hand. Did not know that the Love me didn’t come with boba so a friendly reminder from staff asking if you would like to add boba or any additional add ons would be very helpful for first time customers.
Okay.
For the price paid, we expected perfection. The drinks were too sweet and the boba proportion was not worth the additional dollar they charged. The workers were nice, but our expectations were not met.
* Marry Me Mango: 7/10 - couldn’t taste any tea
* Jasmine Green Tea + Cheese Cream: 8/10 - good but way too sweet
* Brown Sugar Boba (Topping): 6/10 - way too sweet
They’re located in the center of the food court inside of Mitsuwa Marketplace. You should be able to find a table to sit at, but the place lacks major air conditioning so I wouldn’t recommend staying for long. There are a lot of other boba shops in the area that are way better.
Not worth it, in my opinion.
