Dear L.

Food is very good. I like all cheese tarts. The American style cheesecake is heavier than the Japanese style but I prefer the American one.

Please pay more attention for pick up orders. I got Ube cheesecake instead of strawberry. But also great.

I had decided to treat myself to a cheesecake as it is one of my favorite desserts. My cousin had introduced me to Uncle Tetsu while I was visiting Canada and the cheesecake was light and fluffy and was straight out of the oven so it was still warm when we took a bite. I wanted to try the version in Irvine to see if it matched the quality in Canada. As I walked into the bakery, I noticed that the cheesecakes were not visible nor did it appear that any were being baked. I ordered the strawberry cheesecake and the staff went to the back to get one for me and it most likely came from the refrigerator since it was cold. It didn't affect the taste at all as the cheesecake was still light and fluffy and super tasty. But, it would have been even more amazing if it was fresh out of the oven. There are several flavors to choose from including pandan, Oreo, ube, matcha, chocolate, etc. The staff is super friendly and the price is very reasonable. I would go back to try the other flavors.

Both food and services were bad. The custard they use to make the cheesecake was not fully whipped so it was very chunky. The person took our order came straight from mopping in the back without washing their hand them serve us the cake. Ordered cheesecake and ube tart and were bad. Go to San Anita mall or the one in Torrance for better quality. Most of the time i went to san anita mall and it was always freshly baked whereas this place is cold and ube tart are from their walk in cooler.

I received a BOGO through email when these guys first opened and of course BOGO being my middle name, I jumped on this. Ordered: oreo, pumpkin, original, strawberry, and matcha.I got oreo 2 different times and they both tasted and looked different. Not sure what that's about but there needs to be some consistency. The first time, when I cut a slice, the oreo was sprinkled and layered everywhere but the taste wasn't as strong. The second time, the oreo was more concentrated in certain areas, so you have pockets of oreo which I enjoy more. I also loved the strawberry flavored ones. The cake itself has a great texture, especially when hot off the press, gives has a soft, "eggy" souffle like consistency and as it cools it taste more like a cheesecake with a denser consistency. This is a great product and I loved their promotion to get shy folks like me out to give them a try. Would be back to purchase for the holidays.

Came here after lunch at Capital Noodle Bar with my two friends. I was curious about it since I've seen reels about it and when my SIL bought one in Rowland Hts, I didn't get to try it. I asked my friends to go in and check it out. One friend already eaten their OG cheesecake so she was tagging along to observe. We were the only customers on a Sunday afternoon. Being the first time there, I didn't know what they had or the flavors, plus their tarts. I didn't get any help or friendly greeting coming in. I didn't expected to be greeted, but the whole time it seems like I got an attitude, like they were annoyed with me. Like my friends suggested the variety of tarts and two of the helpers toward the back right side said they weren't the same thing. They look the workers gave each other was like, "duh." Since no one was there, they should have maybe educate us with what other stuff they had there. What was their popular item, or seasonal flavor. Opportunity to sell more than 1 item missed right there. I took pictures because I wanted show my coworker who tried to make a Spain cheesecake, but ended up looking like the burnt cheesecake. LOL. I'm definitely not an influencer or elite yelper & my social media is all private so documenting my eating experiences is not my thing. Maybe the workers were annoyed that I took pictures that's why they workers were giving each other looks. When I came in, one of the other worker was starting to stamp the logo on the cheesecake, but when I took out my phone, she stopped. Then she went to do something. When she went back to stamping the logo, I pulled out my phone again, and she stopped. It was like she didn't want me to video/photo that process. Not sure. Oh well.I ended settling for their OG cheesecake since that was what they were known for and I wanted to see what people are raving about. As I was paying, I noticed they had samples near the cashier. No one even offered it to us. Tasting the sample maybe would have changed my order to the cheesecake or matcha flavored on.. One friend tried it and gave me a piece. The piece I tried was ok. First bite, it wasn't very sweet, which I liked. Other than that, I didn't see anything special about it. JJ Bakery makes pretty good Asian cheesecake too and I probably like Jj's more. I didn't find the cheesecake that jiggly. As we were walking the plaza, my 2 friends confirmed my feeling about the place's bad customer service. We kept on saying like why they were so rude to me and it wasn't like they were busy. It just left a bad taste in my mouth. Might as well toss the cheesecake I bought cuz I was that upset, but I didn't. My daughter thought it was ok. She had 1 bite and was done. My husband said it was bad, but ate 1/4. I ended up giving my coworker the other 1/2. I forgot to ask my coworker what he thought of it. I just wish the employee were a little more helpful.
