This place in Costa Mesa is a true gem, delivering authentic and incredibly flavorful plant-based Mexican cuisine. We tried the Al Pastor burrito, a variety of their tacos, and the cauliflower ceviche, and every single dish was amazing. The flavors were spot-on and perfectly executed, with the ceviche being a particularly fresh and zesty standout. If you're looking for delicious, no-frills vegan Mexican food that truly hits the mark, this spot is a must-visit.
Haven't been able to come on my lunch brakes for well over a year now ever since they changed to a 2pm opening. Very sad about it. Not 5 stars for that reason alone, but they still have the best vegan Mexican food I have ever tried.
Was craving some vegan Mexican food and El Zamorano did not disappointment. I had the Asada burrito with a side of chips and guacamole. The flavors were fantastic and the texture for the asada plant based meat was spot on. They make their own protein varieties 😲 😋 Can’t wait to go back!
