An oasis of Italian style in Los Angeles, positioned in a non-trivial context, with the possibility of shaded outdoor seating but away from traffic and confusion. All the main ingredients, starting from the coffee, are original Italian, cooked and served by the Bolognese owner and his family with passion and professionalism. We enjoyed a simple but very tasty breakfast. Convenient free parking nearby. Advised.

I went there for the first time. I had heard of Vitaly. The place had clearly invested in decor. Unfortunately, the menu was very confusing. It took me minutes to understand it and place my order. When I ordered, I was the only person in the shop. While my order was being prepared, it was dinner time, and suddenly, a lot of customers came in all at once. However, my food just wouldn't arrive. The food was not good at all. I paid $55 for 1 soup and 2 sandwiches. I have never seen such expensive service in my life. The meal even came with disposable plates and cutlery. It was an incredibly bad experience.

Went there today and was attacked by a man-hating supervisor. It is truly unfortunate for I have been there several times the last few weeks. I was talking with the owner’s son and this supervisor was seemingly very jealous for she had to stick her beak into our business. She told me I didn’t need to return to the business. Truly a shame. Rest assured, I will not return.Rude manager lady got within six inches of me and violated the COVID rules. She grabbed a flyer that contained a corporate email address for HR. She did not want us communicating directly with the family and went to extreme lengths to do so. The lame son claimed I threw the paper. That’s a lie and the situation got ugly due to his poor decision-making.

Great local spot! My family and I have been going here for about a decade and never get tired of it. Great cappuccinos, pastries, and authentic Italian panini/piadine. 100% recommend!

Fettuccine truffle dish was bland, mushrooms were mush, sauce was undersalted and not creamy, pasta was not noteworthy. Bread basket was $11-12, overpriced. Overall beautiful ambience but disappointing food and high prices.

The second time, the matcha drink wasn't as good because it was smaller (I didn't know there were different sizes because I don't think I specified...), and there was sediment on the bottom. So whoever mixed the powder didn't really do the job right. But the matcha flavor was dull, so I was a little sad. However, I did try the squid ink noodles. They were great; however, the little seafood bits were so tiny. I wish they didn't cut them up so small. Because it would have been better presentation and more pleasant in taste. The outside was very relaxing to sit at because there's a lot of shade, and the entire atmosphere is really laid back. I don't think I'd return because it's a little far out, but whoever made my drink for me the first time, I really appreciate!

- parking lots was about 50% occupied around 12/1pm on Tuesday but it's usually super packed on weekends - shop itself was SUPER cute filled with so much greenery and plenty of seats- pretty much a brunch spot/coffee shop/ice cream shop all in one - servers were super friendly and helpful- great ambience, lovely decor- if I were to come back, I'd try different menu items because the recent ones were not my favorite 1. Fettuccine Sausage mushroom cream 3.8/5- sufficient ratio of sausage to fettuccine- it's decent but the cream is pretty much all there is in terms of flavor, felt like it was lacking but may just not be my preference 2. Piadina (chicken, provolone, tomato, lettuce, pesto) 3.3/5- chicken could use some more seasoning, would have liked a more savory flavor to the chicken to pull everything together

I had a 7:30pm reservation this Sunday for a birthday dinner (indicated in the reservation). We ended up running late and I called in the car to let them know we were still on our way and would be there about 10 minutes late. Upon stating this the man who answered the phone replied "uhhhhh......ok.........give me a minute" and proceeded to put me on hold. When he returned he told us "we could come but " to be aware that the kitchen closed at 8. Since we were about 3 minutes away, I didn't feel like that would be an issue but got the sense that he did not want us to come in. I asked if we would still be able to get food and he said yeah..... as long as you order by 8. I was surprised because I had a reservation and assumed the restaurant could see that they were still expecting guests, but the employee seemed thoroughly surprised and very annoyed that we were planning on coming. I asked if we should even come in as it was clear we were not wanted and he replied "umm it's up to you." At this point I hung up and we went to another restaurant that was absolutely delicious and very welcoming. We are new to the area and have been overall disappointed with the dining offerings but to have a bad experience before even entering the restaurant is a new low. I did some searching to find a place I thought would deliver for a special birthday dinner and was appalled and mortified by the attitude I received from the host in earshot of the birthday guest. I am a long time veteran of the service industry and I understand the inconvenience of a late guest but 10 minutes is really not the end of the world especially when the restaurant is open another 50 minutes. It was clear we were going to be rushed through our meal as the staff hurried to close down. I would suggest not taking reservations after 7 if you are in such a hurry to close and would also remind management and staff that ultimately you do need customers to make money.....this is the hospitality industry, hosting people is part of the gig. Again, I'm glad I got a sense for the attitude here before suffering what would have likely been yet another disappointing experience but did not appreciate the rude interaction especially on what should have been a special occasion. We'll be crossing this one off the list.

I have been to Vitaly multiple times but don't think I've ever left a review. Whenever I come to town to visit my sister, we will often go here for dinner one night. I came back here a couple weeks ago around 6:30 for dinner! I ordered the ravioli with tomato sauce and it was very good, the texture of the ravioli and the flavor of the sauce was simple but tasty. We also got gelato for dessert and the flavors were delicious and creamy! We sat outside, and the weather was nice and they even have a fireplace outside. The service was great as well, the workers were very friendly. In the past I had a pesto pasta that I would always get, but this time I wanted to try something else. I haven't had a bad meal here which is why I keep coming back!

I was so hoping to love Vitaly. Based on a friend's highly complimentary recommendation we arrived starving and ready for excellent pasta. Sadly, we left very disappointed. The lasagna noodles were tender and silky, but the filling was bland and shallow. My dish was only hot in the outside bites as if it had been popped in the microwave. Two others had pasta and both commented on the lack of flavor and depth. Bummed!Service was good. Parking at The Camp is a nightmare and we happened to get lucky. Definitely not a spot to return to. It's a little bit of a mixed bag -upon finding the restaurant. I almost thought we were in the wrong spot because it was a walk up coffee bar and although there's plenty of seating and pretty spots outside, it wasn't clear whether you sat yourself or waited for a hostess. There's also a gelato bar in the back so it's a café/gelato bar /and a restaurant rolled into one.
