Thanksgiving dinner. Considering it was their main event-it was not up to par. Turkey was dry, not enough gravy, potatoes were slightly gummy and stuffing was ok. Plus the food came out barely warm. Both salad and clam chowder weregood. Best part was the bread pudding. Service was excellent- without which it would have been a disappointing evening.

Thanksgiving - South Coast Plaza We had reservations at 4:45 but weren't even attempted to be seated until 5:05. The table that should have been ours still wasn't ready—and then was given to another family. About 15 minutes later, we were finally seated at a much less desirable table. Unfortunately, the experience didn't improve from there. Our food arrived cold and bland, and the steak was noticeably overcooked. I've dined here in the past, and this is not at all what I remembered it to be. I will not be coming here again.

We enjoyed a fabulous Thanksgiving 3 course meal with wonderful service. They served both Thanksgiving and off their regular menu. I would say about 1/3rd of the restaurant had the Thanksgiving meal and 2/3rds ordered off the menu. Despite being crowded, we had delightful service and the meal came out quickly. We had never experienced a holiday meal at Water Grill but it was so nice there, we would definitely do it again.

@watergrill did it again. Way to celebrate Thanksgiving Day and family. The food was amazing and the service was superb. John, and Tyler represented and appreciate Watergrill.

Our salad was delivered without any dressing, so we had to send it back. A family with a baby was seated behind us, and it kept crying for the hour we were there. Children under a certain age should not be allowed in the restaurant before their nap times. The parents allowed their child to run around the restaurant. I thought I was in Denny's.

I have dined here on numerous occasions and have always enjoyed the food and service. This is the second time we chose Watergrill for our Thanksgiving dinner. Niles was our SUPERB server. I wanted to acknowledge his service. Not a fan of the turkey they use, but everything else was very tasty, and try to say 'no' to those sourdough hot rolls! NOT! I do recommend this restaurant not just for Thanksgiving dinner but lunch, brunch and other occasions. There is at least one private dining room and the seafood is to 'die' for.

Water Grill was hustling and bustling yesterday. Let me tell you! I got there at high noon and the place was pretty empty by the time I left at 4 PM. It was packed full with lots of happy families and customers nobody does it better! My sincere thanks to a tradition I have app held since this restaurant opened 12 years ago! I will be your biggest fan forever! See you next Saturday for our girlfriends Christmas lunch celebration😍🥰😘

We arrived around 7:20 seated pretty quick 10 or 15 minutes, was very loud its a very open restaurant. We were seated next to an open huge window to the street side so we had quite a bit of street noise. But all in all a decent experience, I would go there once in a while. It wouldn't be my go to restaurant.

Thank you Mark for the great dinner service! Was very friendly and attentive. Can't go wrong with the raw bar - amazing kumamotos, Peruvian scallops and sea urchin. Sea bass and clams with chorizo were delicious. Closed it out with bread pudding. Look forward to returning soon!
Service and food were outstanding. The visit became more pleasurable after a table change. We were celebrating our anniversary and had 2 weeks prior, requested a booth. On arrival, we were seated in an open area. I asked about a booth seating and was told none were available. So, we were off to a bad start. The manager (Kate) came by and was pouring water and asked how we were doing. I informed her, in a polite manner, that we were disappointed with the seating and had requested a booth. Kate said, let me see what I can do and walked away. She returned a couple of minutes later and stated that a booth table was being cleared and then escorted us to a primo booth table. So, my thanks to Kate, the manager, for making our celebration a complete success. As stated earlier, the food and service were outstanding.

Outstanding service. Excellent salmon and Chilean sea bass entrees. Kale and asparagus sides were delicious. Wedge and Caesar salads were underwhelming. Recommend a different appetizer. Birthday dessert was very good. All in all a great meal after a slow start.

Watergrill is always a consistent and delicious experience and this location is no different. I called earlier to make a change to the reservation and the hostess helped accommodate adding a new person. We had a really comfortable corner table/booth that worked well with our kids. No wait to sit and service was really professional and helpful. Only things to note - really loud so it can be hard to hear when the restaurant is full. They lowered the volume of the music when we asked, but rough to carry a conversation when it's full. Also, we realized when we went to pay that the drinks had been modified to more expensive alcohol, so make sure to clarify your preference when you order so you aren't surprised. We had a fabulous meal and will definitely be back.

Everyone was wonderful  Both waiters and their lady Manager were absolutely very pleasant  and the food is always delicious 😋

Our food and the service were great. I included in reservation we were celebrating a birthday and asked for a booth. Unfortunately, we were placed next to the wait station. The amount of noise from crashing plates and silverware was insane. It completely took away from the enjoyment of the evening. Not sure they have any good fix for this, but felt it is important to know.
