Brandon was an exceptional server. Absolutely the best. The calamari appetizer was great. Unfortunately, although the swordfish was very good (slightly overcooked), it was on a bed of cold spaghetti squash and INEDIBLE olive tapenade. The salt was so overpowering, we both actually spit out the horrible tapenade into napkins. Our server offered to give us another side, but we didn't want one. The dessert was delicious, and the cocktails fun.
My wife and I went there for our 32nd Wedding Anniversary before we went to a play at the Segerstrom Center and the dinner was absolutely amazing. From the time we walked in and were greeted by a hostess until we came back to pick up our left overs all of the staff was just amazing. Our server was beyond attentive. We didn't have to ask for anything it was like she knew what we needed before we needed it. We had the live whole crab for dinner and although it is rather indulgent...
We had an amazing experience at Water Grill Costa Mesa! Jenny was a superb waitress… attentive, prompt, and kind. She checked in on us often without ever being overbearing, which made the service feel seamless.
LOVE THE OYSTERS!! The food came out quickly, and everything was absolutely delicious. Drinks were just as impressive and perfectly made. On top of that, the entire staff was friendly and welcoming, which really added to the overall experience.
