Honestly this is a spot that has been timeless in West Costa Mesa especially for those of us who live on the best side of CM! They just reopened last year and were terribly missed post Covid.Excited to hear that the menu is going to be remixed very soon as they already have some solid plates that never disappoint. From a Po’Boy that reminds you of Nawlins’, to an unchopped salad that really hits the spot during artists hour, you cannot go wrong dropping in for especially a drink. The mixology in this place is insane with old school drinks to new school libations made with your favorite booze. The music is usually beyond on point and is a good break from some of the pretentious spots around it (menos Garabaldi…si sabes tu sabes jaja).I always drop in to host friends or fam from out of town as I wish I could be here every week! Do yourself a favor and keep it real when on the West Side and hit up West End!

This spot is awesome! I moved here recently from Texas and this place satisfied my BBQ cravings. The head chef, Casey is a wiz at the smoker, and the owner Kayleigh is a master with cocktails! I highly recommend this place if you're looking for a bar with great craft cocktails, a variety of beer and wine, and delicious from scratch southern food. You can really tell they care about quality and their community. An absolute must!

This is one of the best unknown spots in Orange County. Not only is the food amazing but the service is impeccable. My goal was to try everything on the menu and despite EVERYTHING being amazing, I can't move past the fried chicken sandwich.Every visit I try because everything has been perfect but I can't!!!Do yourself a favor and go

We came to Westend last evening after experiencing Mesamerica and enjoyed a fully special dining experience. The young couple (owners?) were so welcoming, for two old gals it felt like coming to a family event. Gorgeous food, atmosphere and patrons plus an adorable doggy. Even tho they were short a cook, every effirt was made to keep us happy. Bravo! Great recommend!!! ???

This is the coolest place. Food was incredible and great drinks. Feels like were in Hollywood dive bar. Nice to go somewhere that has this kind of qalify food without the fake newport scene.

Looking for good BBQ in OC? Visit Westend! They made us an amazing meal featuring their barbecued brisket and pulled pork sandwich. Sides like cole slaw and onion rings are fresh and fabulous. Service was amazing (loved the leopard beret!). We had no room for dessert but the couple next to us got the beignets and said they were amazing, so we will have to go back and try them. Full bar, very good music and casual inside/outside seating, bring a few friends and keep these guys cooking!

The food, drinks, atmosphere and service were all incredible here. It’s so nice when a restaurant takes pride in curating every aspect of their menu. We had the jambalaya and Nashville chicken sandwich and beignets for dessert- everything was delicious. The cocktails and bartender here are fantastic. Highly recommend!

The bbq is presented like its fresh but the meat is pretty old. They are infested with rats and rat dropping everywhere. I was eating some brisket and a 5 to 6 inch rat was squirming around. Parking is just an absolute mess and looks like there is alot of undocumented workers . This place needs to follow California laws and procedures. Health department has to do a thorough unbiased inspection. I wasParking: No parkingDietary restrictions: Pure fat and old foods reused over and over
