Our event was in celebration of 30 years of friendship for 10 couples. From the outset, Chef John Murray and his staff were friendly, professional and extremely accommodating. Chef John"s culinary skills are unmatched; passed hors d'oeuvres, bar service, and a four course meal was Michelin star worthy! Our guests said it best - "Incredible evening with a personal chef and staff waiting on us like we were royalty!" "The meal was spectacular from start to finish and the servers were world class." What a great find! Chef John recently catered our 80-person wedding - providing appetizers, main courses (buffet style w/ a carving station), and our dessert (a cake / croquembouche combo). Chef John is a seasoned pro and made choosing our menu a breeze. Everything was absolutely delicious, and our guests gave us tons of compliments on the overall experience. Our dessert was the ultimate show stopper - a combination of a traditional American wedding cake and a French pièce montée (croquembouche). We're so fortunate to have found Chef John and had the opportunity to work with him to make this day special. The price was also outstanding given what a traditional catering company would charge, whereas our food was far more elevated and tasted anything like a wedding buffet. Had a wonderful experience with Chef John and his entire staff at Orange County Private Chefs. Chef John was very attentive to what we wanted and needed to feed our large family gathering two nights in a row. He supplied me with a beautiful menu and was very flexible in making changes. The staff was excellent, pouring drinks and serving appetizers in the comfort of our living room. It truly felt like they were part of the gathering. The food was out of this world. No one stopped raving about it. The kitchen was spotless when they left and we were lucky enough to have some leftovers to dig into later. The pulled pork taco appetizer was one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. Thank you again! This beat going to dinner with a large party any day and we will absolutely be working with you again. It couldn’t have been more perfect.
