I've eaten breakfast at the Apple Peddler a few times when staying in Crescent City, and it has been good enough, but I made the mistake of ordering a Ham and Cheese omelet this morning and it was shockingly terrible. Breakfast with coffee was around $22.00. The cheese on the omelet appeared to be a Kraft-single white cheese cut diagonally in half and placed on top of a very greasy griddled egg/milk mixture that was cooked paper-thin and then folded a dozen times to resemble the shape of an omelete. I couldn't find any cheese inside, just some finely diced ham. I normally don't write negative reviews because I don't want to negatively affect anyone's business, but in this case, I think that I can best help the owner to not lose business by bringing this forward. When I mentioned my disappointment to the waitress, she said that was surprising because the cook was known for being the best. I didn't get the feeling that my comments were going to be taken at all seriously. I'll probably eat there again someday, but next time I'll probably go to Denny's.

Fighting flies the entire time and terrible food. would not recommend eating here. terrible service also just overall bad.

It's just an average place to stop along the coast. There are definitely better and worse places to stop.. staff was ok but pretty short-handed. I'm kind of disappointed but not horrible

Food lacked all flavor, food over cooked, waitress couldn't even tell the rootbeer was out of syrup and was all carbonation. VERY OVER PRICED for what we got. Would not recommend it unless they get their act together. The only thing that was good, was the French fries.

Good food, lousy service. We ordered two breakfasts, they brought out 1, I asked two wait staff for water and never received it.

I ordered spaghetti from the door dash app and when eating bit down on some thing hard and when I spit it out in my hand I found metal big piece of metal not sure if it has more in it or not because I barely touched the food when I found it. Can add Pic right now the thi g won't let me but I took pictures
