The food and service were unexpectedly FANTASTIC! Initially we had doubts about Crescent City sushi but we were pleasantly surprised, the quality was outstanding!

Absolutely great food, service, and drinks. Sushi was great. I had two drinks "sex in the driveway" and "Watermelon Mojito," both are excellent. The bartended Jen was excellent even asking your input and giving recommendations. Fried cheesecake she suggetsted was excellent, it something you should try. I would say this as one of the best restaurant in crescent city.

This was our first time in since it was the Grotto...if you are a sushi lover, this is the place to get it when you are in CC..I especially liked the tempura and the amazing sauce they serve with it..they should consider bottling that sauce lol. My sushi was also really good and tasted fresh..we will be back.

First time dining at the Boathouse , wasn't quite sure what to order as I don't care for raw fish but will gobble the cooked sushi rolls up like no tomorrow . Of course wife ordered the one I should have gotten , and I accidentally got some raw salmon oh well my fault. Everything was pretty good I felt the menu was a little over welming as it's all in one and kind of like a book but I will say the volcano Roll was straight fire ! presentation ,taste, and price was killer . I know what I'll be getting next time service was fast as I was Hangry and worried it was gonna take forever because there was other patrons dining at the moment. Server was great as well over all I say five stars as I would definitely go back for more great little place to eat in cc
Absolutely loved the shrimp and crab! Especially with the garlic butter sauce! Absolutely delicious ? when visiting I had to go 2 nights in a row, I will definitely be there again!
The food was whatever. Looked super dry and barely any flavor. Staff is not friendly and can use better communication skills.

This was our second time eating here, I really wanted to like this place. The food tasted ok but the quality of food is terrible. Being as close to the ocean as it is, and the price of everything, you would expect fresher or better quality food. The crab still had some of the "guts" attached. The "butter" they use is definitely some weird oil and not butter at all. The sushi was basic and nothing tasted fresh at all. We both felt like we wanted to vomit within 5 minutes after eating. The first time was a similar experience... seeing there isn't many options in crescent city, I really wanted this place to be better the second time around but it truly was worse than the first time. We will not be returning here. I will gladly drive an extra half hour up to brookings to get actual fresh and good quality food..

Was decent sushi, thought it would be better being so close to the sea ! Service was nice a friendly, sushi presentation was there, just tasted a bit funky. Just stopped while passing through the small town.
