Visited a friend in CC and we had lunch here. The chowder is fantastic! All of the food was delicious and the customer service was great. I’ll definitely stop in again!
This is the best seafood restaurant in the area and soooo sad that they're thinking of retiring in April. So hope someone buys it cause good restaurants are rd to come by in Brookings/Crescent City.
First taste of California. I hope it gets better. Looking for good fish being on the coast. No flavor and dry Halibut. Asparagus barely warm. Grit cakes were unique , i liked them but didn’t. A peppery blend of ginger and turmeric with a hint of clove. Cool spot , server was nice and efficient , food not so good. Way too expensive for food quality and preparation.

I had the crab cakes and they were delish. The crab cakes were full of crab and not a lot of filler like other crab cakes I’ve had. My husband had the grilled tuna sandwich which he could delightful.the restaurant was nice and clean and the service was amazing. Our waitress was so cheerful. It left me feeling like she enjoyed what she does.

This place is a little out of the way and I'm so glad my husband found it. The food was fantastic. The waitress got my jokes and joked back. The glasses of wine were generous. Really loved this place and think about it often. There is a little art gallery near the restaraunt and that is worth a visit. Great prices.
Thank you for a lovely lunch experience from two Coloradans who never get good seafood.

Apparently the day i stopped in the cook called in sick and the owner had to take over the cooking duty. He does a great job but very slow. The also decided to randomly close at 5:30pm because of this. The grilled halibut though was delicious.

After spending a few days in the Redwoods National Park, we were hungry for some fresh seafood (and fries!). We drove up to Crescent City and found Crescent Seafood after getting a phone signal. This is a local hole in the wall next to the docks. Their cook was missing today, so the owner was cooking. I think that was a good sign, so I ordered the fresh grilled halibut, R ordered the steamed clams but the waitress told us they weren't in season, so it wasn't a good idea to order, so she just ordered the prawns and halibut fish and chips. S ordered the ribeye sandwich, so apparently his filet mignon from last night at the Larrupin in Trinidad wasn't enough.
My grilled halibut was amazing! And S's ribeye sandwich was great also, with toasted sourdough, onion, and tomato with an aeoli on top.
Great stop and the cook washed his hands over and over while he cooked! Happy to see the sanitary habits in a kitchen!

Called to verify hours and ask for any in season specials. Whoever the answer the phone is very rude and seemed annoyed that I was even calling. I'm working for a week in this area and plan on having a party of 10 sharing dinner tonight. But after having a short phone call just inquiring about time of operation I'll take my business elsewhere. Hopefully the owner appreciate losing a thousand dollars in potential repeat business.
Very tasty fish!

Very tasty fish tacos, clam chowder was yummy and fish and chips very satisfying. I will definitely return for another meal. If I lived near by I would buy their fresh fish from their market .
