Family owned The grandson of Elise made my food. My wife and I love this place. Kirsten, our waitress is always so pleasant and kind with an excellent smile. We even went here after our wedding! They sent us home with a pie for the morning!

I ordered the fried chicken and it was delicious! It came out fresh and hot and came with mac & cheese, cole slaw, and a biscuit with homemade jelly that was just made that day! The blackberry cake was so yummy even though I ate it the next day since I was stuffed! My hubby ordered the mushroom swiss burger with sweet potato fries, and cole slaw and he said it was Juicy and very flavourful! Elise's is a small hole in the wall restaurant with amazing staff and outstanding food!

We've lived in Del Norte for two years and finally tried Elises. They told me ten minutes, I was there in eight and the burger had just come off the grill. It was perfection!!!!!!I'm putting Elises on my list of favorites, right next to Art's bbq.

I got a blt with fries and it was delicious. I was happy that they had Coke Zero instead of Diet Coke too. Service was awesome. Friendly and timely. They have a different soup every week. This week it's cream of cauliflower. I didn't have room for it but I'll definitely return!

Great burgers, food was fire, super friendly service and nice diner vibe. Definitely try all the special dip sauces. The fam had a much needed dinner here on our road trip. Will recommend to all my paddling/surfer friends in the CC and smith area as a new go to.
On our latest trip to Crescent City we did a quick search for someplace new to eat (past experience has given us few options). We landed at Elise's on a Saturday afternoon. All of the tables were full when we arrived with another couple waiting for a table also. After about a fifteen minute wait we were seated. The dining room was clean. Table service was for ordering only with patrons bussing their own table. We chose the Western Burger, a 6 piece chicken strip meal and a fried chicken plate. We added fries to the two chicken meals (they came with mac & cheese and a biscuit). The burger was HUGE, I'm not a small eater and I had to force myself to eat 2/3rds. The taste was excellent and the upgrade to onion rings really hit the spot. My wife had the chicken strip meal and a three piece would have been fine (we had three leftover). She very much enjoyed the strips and biscuit, she also enjoyed the added fries. Wasn't a fan of the mac & cheese, but she's always picky about that item. Our son had the friend chicken meal and devoured every bite including the mac & cheese. We ordered two pieces of the lemon cake, one for the wife and I to share and one for my sone. Very sad we shared, it was moist and delicious. If you find yourself in Crescent City just go. PS. The restaurant is owned and run by three young friends, minimal staffing made service a bit slow but the food more than made up for the wait.
