Loved the food! Staff was awesome as well!!! The place is a bit of a hole in the wall (you literally order food from a window in a wall) and the place is filled with standard tables and chairs that you’d find set up for a community center, but don’t be fooled by the initial appearance, the place is awesome!! I hope that you guys can get your own building soon, and I can see the place growing in the near future!

We dropped in for a late lunch while out exploring. We had the special French Dip and eggplant subs. Both were delicious and the staff was incredibly friendly. Be sure to try a cannoli too. The chocolate chip was my favorite. Definitely recommend.

Hands down, best sandwiches around. Well worth what they cost. Also, the panna cotta is delicious!! I like that they switch up the dessert options. Super sad that they're closing at the end of this month.

Great Service and some of the Best Lasagna I’ve had in a very long time! Noticed a lot of people getting to go orders. We dined in and watched all the big plates coming out of the kitchen. Crescent City’s best kept secret.

What a pleasant surprise LaCappellas was! Great food, service, and prices. We had the meatballs and the garlic bread. Delicious, hearty servings of each. Consider me a new regular!

Staff might be nice, but the food is just plain horrible. Can't say anything nice about the food really, which is sad. We came here based on reviews and they are all very misleading or people has never had decent (not even talking about good) Italian food before. We ordered the fried ravioli and the cheese bread as apps. Meh. I decided to go with the soup (minestrone) because it seemed impossible to screw up soup. Well, they sure did it! Nasty. It had a weird color, just terrible. My husband ordered the lasagna which he also thought was terrible. I hate not supporting local businesses like this one, but I just need to be honest. They seemed to be pretty busy with to go orders so they'll be fine, just felt like there needs to be an honest review here, because this is far from 5 star food.

Best Italian restaurant around the Godmother was delicious so fresh and tasty. The service as if family. We also had salad's with ranch dressing and scones for dessert. This is a must have when in Crescent City California. Thank you for serving our community.????

Our first time going to La Capella’s and we’re happy we did. The relaxed atmosphere was warm and inviting. The service is great, the staff is caring and attenuative. We had the Godfather sandwich, with broccoli soup and the lemon and chocolate chip cannoli for dessert. Delicious.

This is ABSOLUTELY by far, the best food in town!! The owners, Joe and Kathy go above and beyond anybody I've ever seen! They are the heart of what small businesses in those community are about! I have worked my way through about 1/4 of the menu, and love every single thing that I've tried! From the La Rosa to the Cuban sandwiches, Cannolis to Panna Cotta, you will not be disappointed

Nice little place to get a good Italian sandwich. Great service! Kinda a locals place I think.

This is a smaller establishment. So they do have some limitations. For example, the Pizza we went there for was not available during the week. The soda’s come in bottles. The ambiance kind of looks like they dropped some tables in an empty room which makes it feel a bit empty. Kind of made me think of a quick sandwich shop. That said… who shows up for the look? When you are hungry, the food is where it’s at, and these guys know their food. The Chicken Parm with the Alfredo Sauce was simply amazing. The garlic bread on the side was soft and buttery. If you show up, don’t let the looks fool you, you will be in for a treat. The food is fantastic.Maybe I will check them out for lunch sandwiches on another trip.
