We were turned away 90 minutes before their published closing time. They told us they were closed, but we saw locals continue to walk in and be seated. Very strange.

Great flavor and portion size. The rice and beans were flavorful rice was fluffy. Beans were creamy.

Really good chips, weirdly enough. Burrito was super bland. The server had 2 other tables besides me and seemed to bting priority to the other table. Even when I just needed to pay.

Perlitas is my favorite Mexican restaurant in town! Their entire menu is delicious, but I always get a bean and cheese burrito when I need a quick pick-me-up.

If you love Mexican food as much as I do and driving through Crescent City California you have to stop here. The food is amazing ..it's fresh...it is absolutely worth the stop.

Ordered Sope Combo and it was really good! I devoured the whole dish. They also served chips with salsa while waiting for your order and the salsa was very good and spicy. I saw some desserts displayed in the counter near the entrance and may order some in the future. The place was very homey and the servers were very kind.
