My favorite Chinese place in CC. I love their Kung Pow Chicken. They have wonderful lunch specials and the best soups ever! Add an order of pot stickers... you won't regret it!

When we walked in, the owner had all these awards for “Best Chinese food in town” and I jokingly said to my partner, “I bet she just printed all those out on her own”. Well, after eating that food I’m pretty sure that’s what she did. The crab puffs were the only good thing because you could tell it was fresh crab but they were soggy even though they were fresh, the fried rice is entirely flavorless, and the egg flower soup was Soooo salty it turned my tongue white. I would not recommend this place.

Oh my gosh this food is so delicious! The lemon chicken is my favorite. Have always been one to enjoy Orange chicken but this lemon is something else! Yumm!

Good food if you're a local. Crescent city doesn't have much food diversity, so after living here for a few years WingWah is a great place to eat. If you're an out-of-towner though, you probably won't enjoy it as much, especially if you're use to eating a lot of sugary salty fast food.

Wing wah chinese restaurant is a local treat. Go online to see thier menu and place an order or call it in. You can also eat at the restaurant. Thier food is the best around . The wait for your order is reasonable, and they are never too crowded.

Passing through town and came across Wing Wah, was skeptical at first but the food was really really good. We had pot stickers, chow mein, broccoli shrimp, mongolian beef, and steam rice. Very small space, but only take out is available at this time. No outdoor dining.

We ordered takeout from Wing Wah a few months ago. We hadn't been for at least five years at that point. The few times we had been before, we had not had an ideal experience. One of our problems had been the fact that, even though we specifically asked for our food to be spicy, we ended up receiving rather bland food. While that was not a significant problem this time around, there were other issues. The reason we gave this restaurant another try was the fact that several anonymous friends mentioned going to Wing Wah and having a positive experience with the food and service. We thought they might've changed ownership recently if the food was reportedly that good, so we ordered takeout one night. The crab puffs we ordered as an appetizer were decent, they definitely weren't the worst we've ever had. However, the prawn dish I ordered as a main dish was not okay. I got the Hunan prawns, which are described on the menu (as of summer 2020) as "deep fried prawns blended with special hot sauce". I was very disappointed with this dish. I would share a photo if I could, but I didn't take any so I will try to describe it as well as I can: The prawns did not resemble anything prawn-like. They were puffy (from the sauce soaking into the deep-fried part?), had no real shape, and were stuck together. The battered outside had a gummy texture, and the shrimp had almost zero flavor, along with the "hot sauce". As well, there were no vegetables in the dish, just prawns. (Note that this might have been my fault as I assumed there were some vegetables in the dish, while there was no mention of them in the description.) It's possible that I just ordered the wrong dish that day, and that they cook other things quite well. I will say that their service is not bad, from what I have experienced. However, I suggest that if you are in Crescent City and want some Chinese food, Wing Wah should not be your first choice. Shortly after this visit to Wing Wah, we tried the Far East restaurant and had a better experience. So if you're in the area, that might be the place to go.

Other restaurants try to match Wing Wah, but they just don't measure up!Wing Wah completely obliterated the restaurant in Brookings!Order over the phone, your food will be ready when you get there or shortly after, then enjoy!

The food is really expensive when the quality of the food has gone down sooo much! They actually used ice burg lettuce instead of traditional cabbage in they're house fried rice!!! There's a big difference between those two! And it made the whole dish taste gross.! It was soggy lettuce in the rice. I'm sad about it too. I have been ordering the spicy garlic chkn for years but even that is lost it's wow factor unfortunately ..

Eating at a strip mall Chinese restaurant in a smallish town (OK, anywhere) is always a calculated risk; certainly, there is a good chance that it will be tasty, but there is also the possibility that... you're gonna have a bad time.On one of our first trips to Crescent City, CA, Mrs. Picante and I threw caution to the wind, and walked into Wing Wah on a chilly fall evening in extreme northwestern California. To say we were pleasantly surprised would be an understatement. First of all, the service was phenomenal... having spent way too much time in countless Chinese restaurants in Alhambra, Monterey Park, Rosemead, San Gabriel, Arcadia... you get the idea... we have grown accustomed to a minimalistic approach to table service. Not here. These folks were pleasant, kind, seemed genuinely glad we came in. Bonus before we even got our drinks. The menu is quite diverse for such a small place-- we ordered Hunan Beef and Mongolian Beef, and the plates weren't exactly the same thing with different names! ;) Before that, though, we started with an egg flower soup and-- my favorite-- hot and sour soup. Both were excellent, and my only regret was not ordering the big bowl.On subsequent trips, we have tried lots of items on the menu. Some we liked more than others, but ingredients are always fresh and portions are generous considering the rather affordable price tag. Most of the dishes are Hunan, but without trying to get too sophisticated for a delightful strip mall Chinese food joint, there are a few menu items from different Culinary traditions. Don't overthink it, maybe, but if you don't mind your Kung Pao Chicken sitting next to your Mar Far Chicken, you'll be fine. And yes, I know Mar Far originated up the road a little in Oregon at Kim's :)In any event, this is a restaurant that I recommend you stop in if you've got a hankering for some tasty Chinese food. Order more than you need, and leave with plenty of little to-go containers. You'll be hungry again by Eureka or Grant's Pass, depending on your direction! :)

I ordered Spicy General Tsou's Chicken and Steamed Rice. The food was heat hot and very well cooked. Very busy. Stood in line to order. Had to wear mask. Takeout only. Pricey but really delicious. I do recommend this as a great place to eat Chinese.

Met family in town and gave this place a try- what a treat! On par with our favorites at home and even better in some ways! Generous with meat in fried rice, very good beef and BBQ pork. If we're in town again we'll stop by for sure!
