El Sombrero Authentic Mexican food

Imma be pretty real here. I love the food half the time. It’s either good or bad. They put a ton of chili if you ask for with sauce. So just tell them to dial it down. If you ask for sour cream you probably won’t get it. They’ll say they didn’t add it to the invoice. Which means they didn’t include it because they were in a rush and forgot. Rice is burnt if you ask for side of rice and beans are spicy sometimes. (We get it for our little girl). Wife said rice is ok this time. Out of the other 20 times we have gone. I called to report the problem but they said they didn’t charge me. And I can return with my half eaten burrito so they can add sour cream. It’s just annoying waiting for the food. Going home. And then not getting what you want. I know them personally so this will hit home I just know they need to hear this.

Their salsa is sooo delicious and the right amount of heat. The family who runs the place are extremely nice. I’ll be coming here every time I’m in town. 🔥

This place has really good Mexican food, with well seasoning meats and it's easy to be noticed off the hwy 33 as your getting into gustine.Need to return back here as it's got a lovely atmosphere, and plenty of parking.

Unfortunately, my al pastor was flavorless other than over-salted. All I could taste was salt and lemon. It tasted more like ground beef with salsa then marinated pork. My tacos and my sope were hardy, with lots of meat and toppings but the flavor just wasn't there today.
