Incredible! Always fresh. Excellent service, extremely friendly and fast. So close to home it's dangerous . 2 nights in a row!

Great tacos, not stingy with portions at all. Love that it's NOT a cash only tacos truck. Definitely recommend.

I love this place. Love the green salsa & al pastor burritos. You can't go wrong with that combination. Workers are very friendly

First time ordering from this taco truck in Santa Anita in Arcadia, and I was pleasantly surprised... The tacos are bomb and loved the green hot salsa. I can't wait to go back for more and try other items on their menu.

This is one of 3 reviews, that will have the same introduction! I decided to do my own version of a "taco crawl" and tested out 3 taco trucks I've driven by and have been wanting to try out! All 3 are in the SGV, and I'm SO glad to have tried them! El Pastorcito Taco II is outside of the Arcadia Park off Santa Anita Ave & just south of Huntington Drive. Based on the name, Al Pastor is their specialty, so naturally I picked out the Al Pastor taco! With a smokey flavor, onions & cilantro and a nicely sliced piece of pineapple topping the taco, it was worth the $2.50 it cost, and was rich in taste! Staff here were friendly, though it wasn't a super busy weekday evening. No seating here, which is totally fine, and it is by a big parking lot, so plan ahead to eat in your car, especially since you want to eat it hot & fresh! No worries though, everything comes on a Styrofoam tray, works great! A decent variety of other items on their menu as well - definitely a go-to when I want to get some legit al pastor tacos!

Best street taco spot in the area. Al pastor is fire. You have to go into LA for better food and prices.

If you are really in the mood for some tasty, flavorful Mexican food then look no further. El Pastorcito Taco has all that you need!!! Stopped by the taco truck just to take a look at the menu to see what they offered, and I was amazed by the variety of food options on the menu for a Mexican food truck. In my experience, most Mexican food trucks tend to keep it simple offering tacos, burritos, and tortas. El Pastorcito Taco is LITERALLY a Mexican restaurant on wheels! I ordered the Alambre, with a side of rice and beans. And let me tell you, this did NOT disappoint. The flavor from the bacon, beef, ham, & chorizo, mixed with fresh bell peppers & onions... topped off by the cheese?!?!? Damn! It was an experience. I didn't want to stop eating it! The beans were so good. I honestly can't even describe it. They weren't watered down like some places. The taste was rich & pure, with a smokey flavor. The rice was fluffy, and vibrant! I went during dinner time. There was no line when I arrived, and as I'm waiting for my food, a crazy line started to develop. The community definitely supports this business for sure! I would love to find a food truck serving Albondigas, Menudo, or Frijoles Charro, perfect for the chilly weather. Can't wait to visit this place again!

This is my favorite taco truck in the area. I used to drive to Temple City for their first location before realizing they opened one in Arcadia during COVID. The truck is parked right next to the Santa Anita Park parking lot entrance (on Santa Anita Ave). It's located next to a stop light so easy to see and pull into the lot for parking. I love their cabeza tacos, nachos and sauces. Out of all the different trucks I've been to, El Pastorcito Taco is the most generous with the toppings on the nachos (I love me some cheese). Only downside here is that they don't serve pink radish and there have been 1 or 2 occasions where the nacho chips were stale.

Great authentic street tacos .. You can taste the quality of the ingredients , all at a good price . I live in downtown Los Angeles and the tacos there cost way more .

Love coming here for their lengua tacos because they use a whole piece and not chopped like other places. The meat is also super tender. I also like their brisket tacos because the meat is really juicy. Their quesadillas are big so I feel like it's worth the price but the flavor was just ok. Even though they put a decent amount of meat, I can hardly taste the meat and felt like I was just eating cheese. Service is good. Workers are friendly and I always get my order pretty quickly. I just wish they put more onions and cilantro on their tacos. I asked them once to put more but I felt like it looked the same from the times when I didn't ask. They are located right next to Arcadia park so there are plenty of parking.

El ambiente siempre muy amable! Y los tacos son ricos! El dueño siempre es amistoso! Son generosos con la carne en los tacos, y las salsas! Good tacos, good salsa too! The owner is always there and super friendly! Wait time is never long either! Located perfectly adjacent to the park off Santa Anita, and there's plenty of parking!
