Decent food, and the view alone is worth the price.

Perfect place to dine and enjoy sushi in Monterey. Beautiful atmosphere and impeccable service. Our server took time to explain the menu and give suggestions according to our taste. The place has sitting inside and outdoors. The restaurant is in the Spanish bay Inn and parking/valet is available.
Their cocktails were perfect and enjoyable. Its better to make reservations as the place is busy during the holidays.

Went there with my girlfriend for her birthday, was the best decision ever. The food was amazing, view was beautiful, and most importantly the fire pit setting was great. The complementary birthday cake was delicious, made the night perfect. No words can describe how good the short ribs appetizer are so make sure to get those! Don’t forget to ask to be seated outside especially if you go around sunset time.

The octopus is the best we've ever had. The views are sensational. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The patio is heated and dog-friendly. Beach access. They'll comp you the Pebble Beach entrance fee if you have the equivalent of 2 drinks and an appetizer.

Thankfully they were open on thanksgiving day. I had the thanksgiving special which was delicious and the best bang for your buck. The beef and shrimp eggrolls and ribs were delicious. Making reservation online was seemless. Resort attire dress code but most people were in dresses and suits.

Tracy, a server in the patio is rude. She was doesn’t seem to be happy with her job. Ruined our time in what is supposed to be a beautiful ambiance. Tracy, you ruined our day.

Splendid and gorgeous setting. Attentive service. Each order was exquisitely delicious from ribs, to lamb, to vegetarian. Artistic presentation. But i felt tense and uneasy because i was rushed beginning halfway through my meal. Some in my party had finished their meal and the staff began to remov e plates. I decided to give up on my chewing and requested a box to go to finish my meal later. I have hunch if we had reserved a later seating, like 7:30, it would feel more relaxed. Our table was for 5pm. I also suspect that if we had all ordered coffee, more drinks and dessert that it would have felt different. My friends didnt feel too rushed but i did. And i always thought you werent supposed to clearance table until everyone was done.

Great views, great staff and a good crowd mix. Open to the public for any festivity you can think of Bday, Anniversary or simply a few drinks. Come and get a drink and an appetizer and enjoy breath taking Pacific Ocean views.

The place is obviously quite gorgeous, overseeing somewhat the pacific ocean; the sight is slightly obstructed with tiny hills, mostly from the golf course; nevertheless, it’s an absolutely outstanding location to enjoy a drink and some ‚Apero‘ bites.

And I was very lucky to just catch the ‚Bagpiper‘, walking up from the golf course towards the bar, right at the sunset time (see video and pics) … super cool idea, but still not sure what Scotland has to do with the place there, except that the golf course is called ‚Links‘ :)

What I really didn’t like was the way ‚Outsiders‘ are treated by the waiter (hence rating of 3) - i felt like I‘m just a burden to the waiter because he knew that I wasn‘t gonna spend a fortune there when I did not order Snacks with my Beer, after a round of golf; it was already 6pm and I obviously choose to eat a ‚real meal‘ soon - is that so hard to understand or grasp that I wouldn’t order a snack at that time? And if one drives a car, it‘s also not recommended to go all in with cocktails … Really disappointed by that experience …

Very nice environment. The view at the beach is great. Service is good. Little bit pricey. Considering the unique atmosphere and tasty food, it is worth a try. You can waive $12 of the entrance fee if you mention having lunch or dinner at Roy's.
