Roy’s is one of the premier food destinations in Pebble Beach. The chef has put his own twist on Hawaiian cuisine and the result is amazing. The place has both indoor and outdoor seating with beautiful views of the Monterey bay.The sushi is a must try, as is the fried calamari. The cocktails do full justice to the menu as well. And, as expected, the decor just exudes beauty and elegance.Dietary restrictions: Not easy to work aroundKid-friendliness: Kids will love itWheelchair accessibility: Yes

We came for the bag piper, and stayed for the food! Roy's is simply amazing. The service and food are impeccable. After an afternoon round of golf at Spyglass Hill, my wife and I rushed over to Roy's to see the sunset bag piper. Luckily we caught the last few minutes. We immediately realized we were hungry and were lucky enough to get seated at Roy's right away. We had the tempura prawn as an appetizer. For an entree I went with the fried rice and added chicken, my wife went with the "Lakanilau" roll which is topped with Wagyu beef, both were amazing. Our meal was and experience were superb, we will for sure back.

You know, this place isn't bad at all. Expensive, yes but the food and the people working in the restaurant were pretty darn good. It's a bit of a drive from downtown Carmel over to Spanish Bay but they created something of value. I think I'm going to spend more time there.

Absolutely the worst experience we've had here. Staff treated us like poop off their shoes. Hair in the food that we waited a long time for. Started with spring rolls so soggy they fell apart. The food was just drenched. Calamari that was chewy. Mostly it was the awful way we felt even being there as guests. Let alone waiting for food to come out with LONG THICK hair. Awful from start to finish. But mostly. It was the atrocious service and watching another table receive stellar treatment in our faces. Please bear in mind while we may not sound like locals. We most certainly are. Do not recommend, I get treated better at chillis. Updating. Been non stop sick since eating here. Violently so.

Came here for a birthday dinner for a friend, definitely a great place (on the upscale side) for a special occasion :) the service was excellent, they brought out a little birthday treat as well! all the food was delicious and uniquely flavorful, and the ambiance was lively and intimate at the same time. We split a few appetizers that were delicious - the brussel sprouts was my personal favorite (super crispy and had a unique sauce). Fried tofu was also incredible, and loved the vegetarian sushi roll as well (it's pretty hard to find impressive veggie sushi :))

One of the most beautiful restaurants I have been to. It was a winner for an early Valentines Day dinner with a special someone.

Went for lunch. Quality, view and service. 5 star. Would give six if I could. Will be back again for lunch, view was great. Food was great. Service was outstanding. Two weeks later... I would go back tomorrow if in the Monterey area. For lunch, good food, high end and great views.

Uh, those menu prices. I "couldn't stomach" the other menu items $***, so I ordered salad. At PF Chang I spent like $30 for a salad meal and it was garbage. Here at Roy's, I ordered the Mongolian Chicken Salad, and it was phenomenal. I also enjoyed some Italian Moscato whose name I will never be able to remember but the waiter recommended, and octopus appetizer. Also, top notch views and service.

Forget bad service - Roy's at Pebble Beach gets it RIGHT! The food is incredible (those BBQ ribs and sushi rolls!), the atmosphere is otherworldly, viewing and hearing the Pacific Ocean and the staff goes above and beyond. We felt like VIPs from the moment we walked in. This place deserves all the praise - I'll definitely be back! (And stay after in the gorgeous all-access patio at the resort, to view the sunset with a glass of whatever delights.

Roys is a great spot located the lodge at Pebble Beach. The ambiance is upscale, yet inviting. The views are worth a million (See my pics). The wait staff is friendly, and they cater to your needs. No need to ask for a water refill- they are on it. The food quality is superb. Couldn't have asked for my fish to be more perfect. The shortibs looked spectacular, and my dinning mates raved about it. There is also a bar inside and just outside the restaurant, if you want to enjoy a libation in the lobby, or out on the patio overlooking the Pacific Ocean. There was plenty of parking (Although a came here on a Tuesday morning ~11). Great spot. I'll be back w/ my wife to really enjoy the atmosphere!!

Came in for dinner during the Pro Am and this place was packed, but what a vibe! Piano music playing, fireplace roaring, and drinks flowing! Started the evening in the bar and had a dirty martini which was excellent.. of course had to get the blue cheese olives! Sat down for for our meal and ordered the surf and turf. The NY Strip steak was cooked perfectly and the Australian lobster tail was sweet and delicious, even without butter, didn't need it! The potatoes were a nice touch as it broke up the richness of the meal. Finished off with the lava cake and the bananas foster (I think that is what it was) and all was incredible. This is a go to place when down at Pebble!

Lobster & New York Steak with all the extras! I do not order this as most places over cook everything, NOT ROY's! Delightful, succulent & the best I have ever enjoyed! Service impeccable & you can't beat the views...,
