After having lunch at Roy's on a Saturday and hung out at the lounge outside of Roy's, we were ready to head home. Then, we saw Stave's sign and they were open! I sounded surprised because we never had a chance seeing them open. They open at 2p and we usually leave before that time. My husband loves wine so he had to go in and check it out. Most of the time, wine cellar stores like this don't carry decent selections. But Stave's selections blew my husband's mind. He said majority of their selections are decent and priced reasonably, which it's rare to see nowadays. So we decided to stay and open a bottle of wine that interested him. We also ordered their cheeseboard, which they said we can get more breads if we want. My toddler was a fan of their cheese and bread, she finished most of them. Steven was the gentleman who served us. He was friendly, attentive and patient. After I checked in on Yelp, there was this 10% promotion popped up. I showed it to one of the staffs, and she said they have new promotion of 15% off now - even better! Of course my husband had to get some. We ended up getting additional 6 bottles with the 15% off promotion. Loved our experience there. We enjoyed the atmosphere, the service, the selections. Nothing we can complain. Amazing experience and highly recommended for all wine lovers.

Wonderful selection of wines to taste, with some nibbles to enjoy along with the wine. There are also several beers available and a vast collection of bottles for purchase. The atmosphere is club like, with comfortable stuffed chairs and a welcoming bar. There is a relaxing fire place with beautiful stonework, and very well informed staff. There is also a sommelier on staff that can help with selections of wine who seems quite experienced with wines from around the world.

The lady at stave was a complete bitch and ruined the experience for the 4 total people in the entire place. Don't go here, not worth the headache. Even Steven looked confused. I'm sorry for whatever happened to you as a child and the lack of physical affection you've had in your life. Loosen your bun and live a little

This place is a hidden gem! We were short on time but had a great experience. Awesome selection of wines. I believe it was Thomas that poured for us. This place is best spot to buy bottles. Prices are cheaper than anywhere else in the area. Can't wait to go back.

Tiny if any markup on wine and our server, Marc, was quite knowledgeable. Yes, the bottle prices can be spendy, but a $70 bottle here is way better than a $70 in the resort restaurants.

If you love wine, this is the place to try it. The staff is informative and strives to find a wine that you can truly enjoy. They have an extensive tasting menu of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Burgundy and many more.I prefer Bordeaux blends and chose the more "hearty" flight to taste. I felt guilty for not choosing a flight from local sources, but once I tasted the last pour...the Tuscany region blend, my remorse disappeared.Nothing like a tasting of the "Bold and the Beautiful" after a seaside drive. I forgot to bring in the piece of dark chocolate in my picnic bag! The bar area is charming, but they have outside seats if you choose. If you are a California native, go with an open mind and be prepared for education in old-world wine. The staff is highly knowledgeable.

This was my first visit to Stave wine cellar. It is one of the retail possibilities at the Spanish Bay resort. They have an extensive wine collection. I was tasting the half glass choices as I was interested in exploring their menu rather than drinking full glasses. I had two folks who were taking care of the clientele. Both of the wine stewards were studying in the sommelier program The Pebble Beach resorts offers to their wine stewards as I understand it. I tasted some very good wines and ended up purchasing more than I anticipated. I'm looking forward to enjoying them. If You like wine And you're anywhere nearby. This is the place to stop and taste and buy.

I am so glad this place decided to reopen. They have a great wine list and very friendly and knowledgeable staff. It is perfect for date night or to grab a glass (or bottle) before heading to one of the restaurants on the property. As a local this is one of my favorite places to visit.

What a cute little spot. We came in just for 1 glass of wine and a little snack after checking into our hotel. Not crowded at this time so it was relaxing just sitting by the fireplace drinking wine with my husband. They have a good variety of wine by the glass or to purchase the whole bottle. We love charcuterie boards and this one did not disappoint.

Make sure you see the bagpiper. Chill at one of their fire pits and enjoy the amazing views.

This is a great place to taste wine from all over the world. The sommelier’s are really knowledgeable without being elitist and make you feel right at home in the cozy space.
