The Safeway Bakery had the perfect 'last minute' cake when no other bakery in the area did. It was a late Saturday afternoon and they had a good selection.
Do not use their drive up service. They don’t have dedicated spots for drive up and advised me to park in a fire lane. I was missing more than half of my order when I went to pick it up and after 25 minutes of back and forth they asked me to come back in a few hours. I also tried to call customer service to discuss my experience and could not get a hold of a single person. I’ve worked in retail and hospitality, so I’m very understanding but I won’t use this service again.
This is one of the worst grocery stores around. One cashier available and the self checkouts are closed on Saturday morning. Their ONE checkout line runs down the length of an entire aisle. Plenty of employees running around but no one to open a 2nd checkout. This was a poorly run store prior to COVID-19. It is even worse, now.
The pharmacy staff leave a lot to be desired, but otherwise a decent grocery.
Clean. Usually have what I need. My only complaint is that they don't always have enough staff in the deli area or walking around to assist you.
Every Safeway I've been on pleasant with decent prices, Avoid Save Mart at all costs!!!
If they are out of an item that's on sale, mention it & they'll give you a "rain check."
Excellent salads.

The bakery will give your child a free cookie if they ask politely.
