Our second time to experience a Valentine's Day dinner here. This year started off with a free glass of Cava Champagne. We ordered three plates plus dessert and an additional cocktail each. For cocktails we ordered the El Leon and a Delrio. Both were very nice taste but the El Leon price point is mostly for the presentation. The Delrio was fine but for the price point was mostly ice with maybe 1.5 oz of actual liquor present. Food wise we started with the artichokes which were delicious followed by the chicken skewers and crab coquettes. All very good. Most plates come as three. The chicken was two with a plate full of the mild peppers. We had the churros for dessert, also delightful. Due to Valentines service was a little spotty. We had to ask for napkins with the artichoke and only one set of silverware was brought with the tapas. We had to flag staff down each time. The evening was enjoyable despite the voice mail the day before informing us we only had 90 minutes to dine. (A Valentines reservation thing I am sure). The bar has a laid back vibe and we really want to come back some evening when it is not hectic with a holiday.
Love , love, love the Del Rey!! Food is delicious, great vibe,, decor and lighting—it's the coolest restaurant in town. Our server Jay Cee was THE best—so knowledgeable and helpful. All perfection !! Can't wait to go back again!!
We ate outside and absolutely loved the ambience. The food was very good as were the drinks. Service was good though a little slow at times, but no complaints. I'd definitely go back.
Everything we ordered was delicious, great service and ambiance but we felt it was about 20% overpriced.
The food was so delicious; we had the tuna belly tinned fish, chicken skewers, and shrimp, plus hummus and broccolini. That was plenty of food for three people. They have a nice selection of mocktails and cocktails. The service was flawless.
If you have the chance to go don't delay. Topnotch service with food and drinks to match. Wonderful spot.
Really good food. Main complaint was service. Had difficulty getting water refilled and we waited 20 minutes for dessert ...finally the server brought the check. We had to explain to her that we hadn't gotten the dessert yet and she seemed flustered and said she would check with the kitchen. We waited another 10 minutes still nothing, so finally went in search of the server and asked for the check. Both the check-in dessert arrived five minutes later. They did comp the dessert.
This is a hidden gem. Very moody with dim lighting, and Spanish colonial meets contemporary design. The tapas are very good, with the meatballs and steak skewers being our favorite....AND the best cosmopolitans I've ever had. Inside seating maximum per table is 4. It's a great place to take friends who are a bit adventurous in their dining choices. Give it a try.
Very cool vibe, like a speak easy. Tapas style food, choices really varied selection, excellent service. Definitely recommend!
Best overall food experience in Palm Springs . It all works art form function. Superb food.

I've been twice before with great experiences. This time was much different. There was no host to greet us or say goodbye yet there is a stand. The front desk agent had to show us to our table. Drinks took 20 minutes to receive. We ordered 4 small plates and the first three came out at a slower than normal pace yet was acceptable. But our steak plate took 1hr 20min to receive post ordering. My water glass sat empty the whole dining experience even after asking for it to be refilled. Overall it was underwhelmed and felt the service lacked in every aspect.
We had an amazing anniversary, we very much appreciated the personal touches celebrating our night. We loved feeling noticed and seen. And the night was made even better when we realized that we recognized a friendly face from Bar Cecil and had an incredibly attentive wait staff. Thank you.
This has no business being on Google because this is not even open to the public

We brought our youngest son and his girlfriend. They loved it as much as my wife and I do. Enrique, our server, was excellent. We took his recommendation and started with the pan and bombas for 4. Supreme way to start. The good, drinks and ambiance were on fire.
Excellent atmosphere and service. Dark, quiet and cool place for an evening cocktail. Food was very expensive for what it was. EG $39 for two chicken skewers and some peppers. Glass of wine $20. etc. Automatic charge for "kitchen appreciation" :-|
