This is an old school Mexican grocery store with a family owned restaurant next door. Janitzio is a neighbor to my home town in Michoacan. Good food, good service, great quality. I love finding small businesses that out match the competition.

Amazing attention! The wait was not that long and the waiter was super attentive! They have a salsa bar with a variety of salsas and the interior is so cozy and inviting. Highly recommended, Gracias!

Restaurant next door was good. Fam tried the Carne Asada Tortas and said they were a 10/10.
So we went for breakfast keep in mind we have never had breakfast there I ordered chilaquieles ROJOS and my guest ordered a burrito we waited for like 35/40 mins for our food at this time restaurant was not busy at all waiter takes our food to a different table people look at it and say that was quick not knowing it was our food we get the waiters attention and ask her if our food is almost ready she replies oh I tought you guys we just picking up we told her you were the one that took our order for here so she proceeds to give us the food the other people pretty much touched and I tell her these are green chilaquiles she says no that's how our red chilaquiles look like at this point I was just hungry so I started eating but they were so bad I didn't finish them I will post a picture of this but please tell me if those are red chilaquiles the beans were super old the only taste I got was lard the potatoes were horrible no taste but I'm glad I wasn't the only person to think that an old timer next to us told us the same thing with his wife agreeing I'm sorry but please do better and please don't advertise red and bring out green chilaquiles lol and the soda was flat I would never refer anybody to this place I'm sorry but it was just plain out bad ?

Located in the east part of Delano, California. Good is very typical. I ordered camarones a la plancha. I like my camarones grilled a la plancha and these weren’t grilled enough, but I guess next time I need to tell them how I like them. Beans are delicious. There is plenty of parking space. This is a family environment restaurant. Only a few tables inside, but may be enough for them as owners decide this. Friendly server and very attentive and pretty. Clean one restroom. The prices are fair for Delano, area. Plenty of food served. I do recommend this as an option to other local restaurants reviews I’ve done about Mexican food!
