My girlfriend and I came here based on Google reviews. When we went in, the place was completely empty. Not just no customers, but no employees either. A neighboring business told us they have never seen anybody there.

The owner of this place has quite the reputation. Just look at their Google Reviews "fuentes steakhouse in diamond springs" about him. After meeting him personally several times at this restaurant, I respectfully send caution to all patrons who DO NOT want to "just hope for the best here" with food quality and your overall service experience. Spend your money elsewhere with people you can trust! Hopefully 1 day this fella will do what is right, and drastically improve the experience of his guests and also employees. 4 adults plus one child. Nobody was satisfied with the food. We were the only people in the restaurant. I ordered the honey mustard chicken wrap. It came with regular mustard. I asked for a side of honey mustard. They brought regular mustard out. I asked if they even had honey mustard. The waitress replied yes and walked away. The waitress then stood by our table laughing at our personal conversation and adding her two sense once in a while. Weird experience very expensive for below par food. There's a reason it's rated below 4 stars and if you want to know about the owner just read the replies to negative reviews. He can't see the sign that says the customer is important. The one that.all successful business can see. He argues with the people coming to eat there.

Was not open for breakfast hours that were posted and advertised. Our 3rd attempt to eat there. Would not try again.

Went for dinner two weeks ago. Extremely over priced, inexperienced waitstaff, food was good but not at the price.

Fuentes is out of place in diamond springs. The food is outstanding, the wine and beer selection is great, cocktails are the rice wine liquor. Very good cocktails, but be aware it's not real spirits. The decor is nice but still under construction in some areas, can't wait to sit at a finished booth! Dinner is ala carte so you order a salad, steak, side all separately, common in fine dining, but not in this area. The owners are very nice, but the guy can talk your ear off ?. I highly recommend it, but be ready to pay for what you get.

Awesome Food. Fresh and clean. Killer wine selection too!

Ate there for breakfast on Father's Day. Restaurant was not busy but we had very poor service & food.

The lobster tail was so good
