I tried tacos here yesterday and they were absolutely delicious! Authentic, flavorful, and thoughtfully made. I had the 4 taco option. I think they are the best tacos that I've had in the Placerville/Cameron Park area. I haven't tried every restaurant, but needless to say, I was very impressed. The chips did not taste homemade but the green (my fav) and red salsa were appropriately spicy and good. I ordered a side of beans just to taste since it was my first time there. They tasted homemade, but didn't have the flavor that I really like. Still, the tacos are among the best that I have had anywhere in my area. The other taqueria that I like a lot is Taqueria Tepa in Palmer square (better beans and chips). I expect the Valenz Mexican Kitchen will only get better as they get further established!

They’re always closed, I need them to be open 24:7. Food is to good to not be able to go everyday at anytime. They get 5 stars for flavor but one star for breaking my fat little heart everytime im close and they’re closed

Coming here for a meal is like visiting a favorite family member, and every dish we've had here has been full of wonderful flavor. Plus, it's the only Mexican sports bar in the area and the only place one can order a Mexican pizza! Come often.

My son, a picky eater, said their wet burrito is the best he’s ever had. I had their tacos and I was very impressed! The carne asada meat had a great flavor, as if it was marinated in a great blend of spices. The salsa was very tasty as well. This is by far my favorite Mexican restaurant in town. I wish I knew about this place sooner! Great food and service! This place was also very clean, and had a colorful and authentic atmosphere. I highly recommend this place!
We kept hearing great things about this place, but our experience was very average, unfortunately. We tried the chili relleno burrito with al pastor, the shrimp quesadilla, bread pudding, and churro. The burrito was very blah. None of the flavors stood out and it was very dry. The burrito is supposed to come with sour cream, but it didn't. My husband enjoyed the shrimp in the quesadilla and appreciated that they had been cooked on the grill vs. just boiled, which is how many restaurants do it. He said the quesadilla was incredibly greasy though. The chips appear to be from a bag, not made in the restaurant, which was disappointing. The churro was fine, nothing stood out about it. Now I was excited to try the bread pudding, which we saved for later, but come to look at it and it has a thumb print in it (picture attached). Gross, and I won't be eating it.

Excellent food, service, and atmosphere. Have also enjoyed their food truck a few times at El Dorado Brewing Co. The storefront in Cameron Park has more options, but everything is EXCELLENT! Support this local establishment. Nothing but positive reviews of our experiences with Valenz.
