This is a restaurant in our neighborhood that is hit and miss typicallly. We looked forward to an event on this night that we booked a table. Our reservation was for 6:30 and we were seated immediately. That was the last we saw of any employee. We did not get greeted, brought water, or acknowledged in any way. We watched the owner visit each one of her personal friends tables to make sure they were being taken care of and she literally walked AROUND our table never looking at any of us, to reach another friend table. She always made sure her wine glass wasn't too far out of reach. By 7:00 we had been ignored long enough, 30 minutes still no water of visit. Mind you it was NOT busy yet at all, not even half the tables were full. We left.

Marina Bar and Grill catered my 96 year old Mother’s celebration of life at the Discovery Bay Yacht Club on June 19, 2025. Their service and delicious food was amazing and I am so thankful for our dear community and Marina bar and Grill for making my Mom’s day so special. Waitress was new and was struggling. Waitress did not come to table enough to see if everything was okay. Pesto ravioli not eatable. Diablo shrimp cocktail was very good

I visited the restaurant on Friday for a late lunch, hoping for a great experience since it was the Fourth of July. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a terrible experience. The food was horrible, and the only positive aspect was my server, Tori. She was fantastic and made the situation much better. Without her, I would have left.
The restaurant was severely unorganized and seemed to have potential but was clearly struggling. Tori worked tirelessly and didn’t stop, even though she had no help. I noticed the owners present, but they appeared to be incoherent, likely due to being drunk, and they didn’t even try to assist her. The overall atmosphere was chaotic, to say the least.
Thank you, Tori, for making me stay and for your hard work; it did not go unnoticed.

This is a favorite place to come for my mom and I. The views from both snide and out are always relaxing and the fresh air refreshing. The patio is well-shaded and the music pleasant. Oh, did I mention that the food is delicious too?!
Restaurant was really good when the new owners revamped. But the last year food and service have gone downhill very fast. No sign of any manager on site, lots of lost young kids working the restaurant and the focus seems to be on karaoke and other silly games and not on food and service. Very disappointing.

A restaurant with about 25 people in it stood there waiting to be seated for about 15 minutes before anyone even talk to us once we got there there was not a single table that had been bust so we told him we would go for a walk and come back when we come back, she is literally flicking garbage off the table Onto the patio didn’t wipe it down took our drink order. Said the kitchen closes in a few minutes and walked off it was an absolute garbage disposal shit show of a restaurant. I wouldn’t recommend even driving past it make an eye contact. It was Gross.

The Marina Bar and Grill is AWESOME! I had my birthday party there and they were absolutely fantastic! I had reserved space for a large group and when we got there, they accommodated us when my large group was much bigger then anticipated. Vanitha and Rich are very warm and welcoming and truly want their customers to have a great time and experience there. We were there for karaoke night and I just had the best time there.

Been here twice. The food is very good, the staff is very nice and helpful, but the service is on the sliw side. I do have to say, we had a party of 8 both times.

We decided to go to MBG for their new menu. It was amazing. Todd had linguine and clams and I had the Caprese sandwich no complaints after looking at the new menu and seeing their prices, I compare them to their competitors in our neighborhood as far as $ and MBG were under their competitors by 2 to 4 dollars . Totally recommend MBG .
